I just asked: is the Trailer ready? they said yeah, I asked if i can take it then, they said ye why not, and just took it home
nice
the iveco doesnt have a GPS anyway
our main client is like 5 minutes from my home which is nice
I have a 130km drive tomorrow morning, gotta be there at 5:30AM
LIDL
f these places man
best things to have are Coils
throw on 25 tonnes on the back
put 2 chains
and done
5 min
thank god I didn't deliver to supermarket warehouses often but when I did I was so pissed
sounds good
Tank is also good
just stick your hose in there and let it flow lol
I wanna do some Farmin/Construction equipment
international best if I can
or just low loaders in general
yeah looks like a pain in the ass but very nice
even with head lashing just how they teach in school
yeeee
well I learned that from our drivers
even got some squared wood in between the pallets
meanwhile when I drive stückgut from time to time (chemicals, so IBCs, canisters in all sizes, bags) we just throw everything on there with no straps and no Code L/XL certification because we aint got time for that
I mean if you've got proper aluminium bars all the way and they're not damages and you have no room to either side I guess it's fine
But I see in your picture you've got wooden planks, that's acutally illegal
not really
if it's not aluminium Code XL doesn't count anymore
they come like that from Krone
as it's not up to specification
we have 2 aluminium and 2 wooden for each field
but it is really code xl?
I mean they probably still sell them without certification for all the cheap bastard companies
good question, I think it says Code XL
If my company only want to use 20 year old swap bodies with no certificate what the hell am I supposed to do lol
xD
strapping every single pallet is just not happening when I have sometimes 6 or more customers and have to load two or three times myself in between
better safe than sorry
better safe then sorry, especially when im not the one driving the trailer
how heavy was that`?
23K kg
ah
because theres not much to chain
if that thing moves
no chain aint holding it
is there like a steel bar in front?
ye
its why its lower in the floor
2 steel bars
ah I see
its a Coil Liner from Krone
the one with the straps isnt one
its made for a forklift
yeah one dude I know hauls coils that weigh 27t each
like wtf
with weight optimized truck and very short trailer
but that's more than 40t then
we go a lot to Thyssen Krupp so see them regularly
ah
i mean yeah
if u only pull coils
and can carry one at max might aswell run a shorter trailer
yeah
u need to put the weight on the axles either way
Box trailers are best, barely ever have to strap or use 5000 straps unless its super heavy
Problem with the leather or w/e its called in english i forgot, you "have" to strap every row of pallets individually regardless of weight as far as i know
seems fun to navigate
do you know basf in ludwigshafen?
just as big
I got lost there plenty of times lmao
oh yeah heard about that one
When i worked in a warehouse stuff never got strapped
if curtain bords on bottom and maybe on 3rd row from bottom
a pole at the end if it didnt fill all the way
n send er off
🤣
they have their own App to Navigate Thyssen krupp's
they literally have their own gps app, unfortunately it doesn't help that it's utter shit
🤣
yeah
Yeah usually they dont, but if they stop u and check load and have a bad day they can make u strap everything there or u dont move an inch
and the damn thing just led me in the middle of a construction side
I dont either if i drive a curtain trailer
I missed a Turn at Duisburg and drove 3 kilometers to find a place to turn around
a good ole anonymous report to a fire station who does inspections
should fix that easy
there will be signs up there soon enough 🤣
well it's not like I was stuck in there or anything, it was just that I didn't know where the f I was lol
spoke about it yesterday, now Im here
please don’t post these kind of photos here please. Thank you.
never been an issue before
kinda silly ngl
Considering other people has been allowed to post those kinds of pics, why cant i?
You’ve been playing with your phone while driving?
That’s a nice Volvo (you won’t catch me saying that often)
double standards 🤷♂️
Do i need to call your doctor again?
Probably
5cylinder volvos are nice
and the new cabovers too
How are the volvos over in europe are they cramped or ok in space
The XXL cab is ok, but the smaller ones are kinda cramped to live in
even compared to a K200
I always thought that all the cabs were small since you know the bed is right next to the driver.
theyre not big beds / cabs but theyre doable when ive been in em on ridealongs
this has a good interior breakdown of the biggest FH cab https://twitter.com/i/status/1125354801519366144
Our new, supersized XXL long haul cab is designed to provide world-class driver comfort. Find out how in just one minute!
101
It's not "supersized" compared to US-Sleepers but it's not small
i dont get the massive us trucks
I understand wanting a bigger place to sleep/live but stretched-chassis trucks for no reason/no big sleeper? those make 0 sense to me
yeah
Horrible.
i get it for tthe people who live in their truck but otherwise it seems stupid
Seats and the capability to configure them as you like is crap and the bed is way too narrow and small
true; though if you wanted an FH as a long haul owner-op you probably would
lenght wise shouldnt be an issue because i think recently the max lennght got extended in europe
atleast i tought i read so somewhere
The XXL costs about 10 000€ extra from what I’ve heard, ain’t no one normal paying that amount to get a proper bed.
yeah no
i geuss the companies who go full out on their trucks interior exterior etc
might just be like yeah
10k extra aint alot in those situations
True but why pay that extra when you can rather buy a DAF, Mercedes or Scania as is and rather use that 10k extra to kit those up instead?
Cuz as far as I’m aware the bed in DAF is wide and good and also Mercedes I’ve been told have good beds and I know for a fact that mine in my Scania is good and wide as I can pull it out (and make it as wide as a proper single bed I think)
True
but id geuss its company preference etc
Indeed
for some reason I see a lot of XXL FH's here
oops i meant to turn ping off mb
Do it! I love to sleep in trucks
US moment
the bigger, the better
30 minute break pic
clean
lol I passed a military convoy in Massachusetts
Nooo… it was my pet fish
I was here before a mod was
huh?
Filming while driving
and what about it?
bruh
well ty for letting me know haha
i'll just remove it then if that's the how it works
Ye just do the"strap it on your forehead" tactic
that was actually what I did... i think
😎
half car, half truck
man pennsylvania pot holes are a pain and now my back hurts
Waiting to load up
everything
they do pretty much anything out of steel
cuz there is only one exit
I really don´t know why i had Rheinmetall in mind. Maybe it´s because i like Tanks. Metal is actually very versatile. it´s used everywhere. When you ever worked on reinforced concrete and there is no other option than demolish it by "hand" You know that steel is an absolute pain. Also..... I like Tanks. 🙃
In case i havent mentioned it befor.
same, I always think of Kruppstahl
🤣
No more 6 bucks a gallon for once I like Missouri
Nice Cole’s & Sons Scania parked behind me
(before you remove this for not being my truck, it says “and experiences”)
Dayummm hot
That’s nothing
Lol
Get my bbq in some tinfoil and strap it to the roof 👌
Let it sit 8hrs then nice and Cooked lol
If only that would suck if it was that hot
Bad feeling lol. When you see your landing gear infront of you
I have pinned landing gear not crank. The cotter pin fell out and the main pin slid out and dropped the gear
Nice and secure lol till I find a actual cotter pin
Ye.
I nearly dumped my load on it to. Would of been lost till the dozer guy bladed it

Your still cooler lol
true that
You drive that?
2 dif trucks so i doubt it
I drive three different semis 🤷♂️
I mean yeah but you do 3 different types of stuff
Those trucks are basicly the same and used for the same stuff xd
Or atleast were till it got deleted
I just love sitting in the passenger seat in stead of sleeping for a few more hours
I love that town sign. It's funny for some reason.
fueling up and I love the moon rn
Read the pinned message or channel description to find a reason why
Gotcha. Ye I got the 6x6 semi I use for water hauling on soft ground and heavy haul. Then the mack for hauling on the highways and the Pete for hauling across states
What Mack do you drive 👀
That's beautiful - love it
I've heard from other ppl in the states that Mack just aren't really used as highway trucks anymore?
I don’t use mine for long distance
Only within 200miles
Great work rigs
But not long distance
I can't send pictures here because I don't have a truck but Mack see a decent amount of long haul here still, especially in the outback for road trains
nice
been here for a few hours did some cleaning and was listening to music with my other phone
and might as well walk around for a few hours
Fun
we are waiting to pickup so it will be a while
shouldve planned better then haha
and also it's Wisconsin so close to the border of Iowa has a truck stop

id have no clue on that
as im not an trucker nor american
hopefully soon i strike some luck and can start
🤞
the yard is so big here they are using golf carts
lmao
i mean if your walking trough there nonstop all day
its nice to have a choice to just not have to walk nonstop
till its battery dies
I mean worst case scenario you just drop the trailer and hit up a fuel station without a trailer🤷♂️
Done it a few times with my heavy haul trailer
i mean if u needa fuel up
and theres a pump really close by
and u know its gonna be a while
might aswell fuel up if your on empty itll take a while id bet to fill
Ye. Plus I like to scare the shit out of gas cars when they park on diesel pumps
xD
id be the guy
who just keeps his toweye in at all times if id drive a truck
or ready to
and just drag em out of the way
Imagine seeing a big 6x6 military semi pulling in fast and going straight towards ya and stops right up on ya🤣
sometimes i fuel up and theres people who pull up infront of u
and they just straight up go into the store
very nice if its the only free pump without a line + pump on the side of your gas tank filler
I mostly wait in line at the truck fueling area
Even if I’m in my pickup Can get it fuel in seconds it feels like lol
I brought the mack home cause it won’t work anymore lol. The valves on the belly dump are clogged so the doors won’t close on it.
So I’m going to clean It over the weekend.
My dodge is left over there so tomorrow afternoon I might go get that and wash it to
and we would need to refuel the reefer so
anyway I'm going to watch someone restore a scania
I didn't know you had a YouTube channel
Many don't know that
"Trucking with Nubxii - Summer Edition" when?
When I'm able to fix my GoPro which I've been forgetting all the time or simply haven't had the energy to even look at
They’re a quality driver 11/10
So I got 3 air lines cracked and 1 completely broken off 🤣
I washed the truck and I guess all the grease and mud was holding it together
But my truck doesn’t build air
So tomorrow ima work on that.
Shunting again today
ah yes, the terberg truck
No worries tho, I only hassle you about it because I like your videos, they're very calming and the scenery is
Aye been like "God I should fix it soon" but every time I get home I'm like too tired to even bother with it, lots of things I should do but haven't done cuz I'm just tired :/
Relatable
Yep
why not just run footage of your dashcam
aslong as its okay quality
Oops...
Ah yes, the dinky toy
😳 how
Curb or smth probably
Was docking to a dock that you need to do a 90° blindeside. I was focussed on what the trailer was doing when i missed a pallet that has got high metal corners laying on the ground. Cut it clean off haha
Noo, it didn't touch the carcass of the tire, Still good luckely
Perhaps due to some inappropriate words in it
ugh
If id have a chunk out on my car tire id needa replace it haha
Yea, and the pallet was broken already haha
I geuss trailer / truck tires can go trough and are still acceptable even with some damage
Id say bad spot for an pallet haha
anyway, I f'd up in a similar situation the other day, I was so focused on the rear of my trailer that I forgot to look in my left mirror and didn't notice how close I was to another truck 😬
Our shunter doesn't go on the open road, nor faster then 50kmh, and are special shunter tires
It was, right against a wall, in the ground in the shadow
Kinda looks like its punctured
Lmao
But i geuss theres more rubber
It isnt by far, didn't even touch the carcass
Ooh, that could be a more expensive accident haha
it was kind like that, really tight place and I had to reverse into the bay all the way on the other side
I was really lucky, I just managed to hit the plastic fender on the other guys trailer with my rear light, I only had to replace the light diffuser or whatever you call it
Ooh, that's a pretty tricky Maneuver
The width marker you mean? Or light housing, either way luckier then i once was haha
yeah the light housing
Ahh, lucky*
and the reverse beeper inside broke as well but I don't mind that lol
didn't fix that
Noo, cant you turn that off in the cab tho? Our trucks can
Oh wait, your beeper was in the trailer...
it was connected to the reverse light
Ahh, not so good
idk why they did it like that, the beepers are seperately attached but the cable goes inside the light housing
kind dodgy
Oh, that is kinda dodgy haha, but either way you were lucky enough not to really hit the truck, i once caused almost 8k in damage to a truck with trailer i was pulling... Bit less lucky hahs
oof that's unfortunate
Their fault for putting u in a truck without license haha
Yea, luckely i wasn't held liable, companys insurance took care of it, ice caused it
🤣
I guess it was on private property though?
Lmao, in insured haha, didn't even happen at this company im with noe
Yes yes
I mean yeah cuz private property
No need for license but insured definitely
And actually i did have licence for that specific truck, was on tractor licence...
If i cant become a trucker for whatever reason i may try to just get a job yard shunting all day
Oh u only need tractor license for a shunter?
Yes
I geuss it makes sense seeing theyre restricted speed wise usually too
idk how it is in the netherlands but here in Germany you may still need a license even on private property
That one did 72kmh
Lol
the rule is that if it is publicly accessible it is like driving without a license in public
Here you dont, even tho i have tractor licence, so if i wanted i could go on the road with it legally
Theres an easy loophole
A beam that raises and lowers or an fence that opens and closes
I mean its industrial area your in probably so if itd be over public road it may only be 2/300 meters at max
To a storage yard or smth
Noone really checks there
it's one of those things no one cares about until something goes wrong lol
Eh depends
Our company is not really in a industrial area, look up the companys adress: Europaweg 150
Alright
when I was still an apprentice without a license we were always driving on private property and even a few meters on public roads but technically if something were to happen a few people would be in trouble I guess
No, of i wanted i could legally go to the other side of the county in it
Yea
I see what u mean your probs still industrial area but right next to highway
You could be in huge Trouble yea haha
U could use the excuse tho
Company was busy
Had to pull into road a few meters
To have the room to back up / turn around
Really depends on your situation
And if cops etc are called if so then yeah more trouble xd
its never illegal until you get caught kappa
Not really a highway, Just a big 50kmh road, like 1,5 km out of the real industrial area if you know what i mean
Ah yeah
So basicly an industrial zone with a “big main road”
Geuss thats done on purpose if theres certain types of companys that may have proper big or heavy loads
Its a different type of infrastructure needed because weight n stuff
Id guess
Yea no, we have got a huge empty area at the front of the company, out gates work on licence, driver go in the office and check in, give their licence, and only when their licence is on the screen next to the parking outside of the gate, they can come in
Nice
So i geuss u still have an extra company property
That still counts as the private property
Just not gated
I dont know, and i dont really care haha, Just Nice to be next to a bigger road without loads of traffic
Haha
Yes, it is ours, it is public, but owned by the company, and at the back of the yard we have Still got a huge unused piece of land
So, space enough
How many shunters do u guys have?
Just one or
Or is there always 24/7 when company is open one or more on the move
One terberg for the truck wash and Warehouse and a Scania for the garage
So basicly always one moving around atleast?
The one in my pf is shunter for garage
Because if i cant find a job with my coach i might apply if theyre looking for a driver for it 🤣
Its got something to do with trucks atleast and is only a 40 min drive haha
And we also have one driving in Olst between two warehouses
Geussing that one drives bigger distances etc off property too
Mhm
Geussing for that u need a truck license tho
Or they got an shunter there too
That u can run with a tractor license
Yes, also all the towing work
🤔
No, Just truck licence
Mhm ok
Ill have to keep it in mind for sure if whatever my jobcoach is working on wont workout haha
I wouldnt mind running a shunter
Haha, we usually have 3 shunters, 1 fixed driver, and 2 guys on the Warehouse who could also drive, bit today all three werent in, so i took over
?
Like to the towing part
Whats with it?
Just picking up broken trailers or trucks too
Both, or together, tho pulling loaded combi it stuggles with big time, with its little 250 hp 9 liter 6 inline
😂😂
I geuss if it breaks it is a case of go there with a chain and pull? 🤣🤣
And hope u dont get stopped back to garage
No, the Scania has got 2 drawbar couplings, one for Dolly trailers and one for seesaw trailers (Google translate translation) do we have got a towing bar for behind the scania
Incase we have got a whole combi behind it yes
Towed this back last wensday
Ah nice
So i geuss driver to steer and brake if still able to and then towing
Is it a manual torpedo?
Beacons on = exempt of anything

Yes, we were with 2, one in the daf steering and braking, colleuge driving scania
Yes, manual 10 speed
Haha ofcourse
Nice
Yes, but the Scania is a 92 not a 113 haha, dont get fooled
🤔
113 Just looks nicer
Cab swap onto a more modern chassis i geuss?
No? Just changed the badge
Oh xD
Lmao
I hope you got parking cooler haha
What? lmao
my plate with pizza was hitting on the enter button of the numpad
Today i also had a relatively short Day... 04:00-19:00
Lmao yea, and damaged my front tire on a pallet with high steel corners
oof
This
is ur terberg road legal tho
It is
ooooh
On tractor licence
u got the power mode or eco only
Power, eco and off
whaaaaaaaa
I was limited to Eco 😦
Oh no
30kmh onl
Wow, luckely mine does 43
But when i pull out one certain fuse, it goes 72
Because it got aftermarket limiter
8
Lmao, it is a bit... Dodgy yes
a bit....
But i only did it 6 or so Times when i needed to go to village 38 km away to change trailers
they wouldnt pay me enough to do 38km in a Terberg
Haha, ours is not too bad, is almost full option. I think its pretty nice
Only mirrors are completely useless
we got a brand new 2021 too
Nice
dont have any pic of it
Yea, we only have 2, one on the yard and one shunting inbetween 2 warehouses somewhere else
That one is from 2009 and this one 2018
we have 2 too, one on our Old site which is the one I had
and the new one on the new site
yeah our new one looks a bit different, cant find any pic on the internet
it has LED and sh1t
Ooh Nice, the newer one has got a few leds behind the bumper, dunno if you can see them. For high beams
They are in the Bottom opening in the middle of the bumper
Ooh Nice, our XG+ also got delivered last friday
i hope 4pm
if not = lot of overpay money
all of weekend is overpay money
Four in the morning....
so lot of extra money
and if not u have a shitty company
Yeee
Saturday is always 150% pay, and anything over 9 hours is 200%
At the previous company we also had those mp5's about 150 of them. Shunted with them regularly, Hated them to the bone
Eurolink has such beautiful Trucks. That Blue is absolutely gorgeous
why?
perfect for shunting too
just flip the switch from D to R and go backwards
When the sun shined in them, you could see even less then in a normal mirror, and when the camera turns with the trailer, especially when doing blind side reveses, i lose all perspective
And rain didn't go off the lens quick enough when shunting
u drive this?
why?
because only post if u drive it here
I remember this server being stupid about rules but this stupid?
wow thats gotta be some of the dumbest rules I have every seen
keeps the kids away
those are too busy driving 4 axle trucks with Curtainsiders in ETS2MP
Lmao yea
Oh, didn't drive the L yet
nope gotta idle until 5 pm cst or 4 if I'm lucky
And they were all in foreign langauges, only the russian trucks i could Lock the camera's in place
other company left the truck for inspection
Ooh, you Just keep it running thoughiut the night?
my co driver drove all night we came to the drop off and they wouldn't take us early
so we have to wait
Ooh
it's only 14 miles away
These are the MP5's we had at the previous company, not the L yet
up it's going up
Oof
company near
went bye
so now all vos
all polish truck etc
it's not that far considering it's Saturday and nobody works
love mp5s interior
No, polish too expensive, russian, belarussian, ukrainian, lithuanian, romanian, and a few front Kazachstan
The ones we had were basic af
oof
Bad pic, took off of Facebook
we got the subwoofer
They had that too, but for the rest almost no options, while the daf xf they had were almost full option
near me
where i use work
all polish turk
don't Volvo's over there have this kind of i-shift
bus shifter
Then that's a diffrent vos, the one i worked at doesn't have polish at all, the whole company dont
here at them have all white plate
Just found this pic of last februari, did nothing else all day
Yes, all the trucks vos had were on lithuanian or romanian licence, with drivers from all over on them
woooo
snmow
Yess, was a very fun Day, and the Day after i did the 8k damage haha

What’s the easiest way to remove a air drier filter lol
Besides 2 people and creative words
What kind of truck
Any in general I guess. Like 335 Pete’s. Chu613 Mack’s. 379 and 389 Pete’s. Kenworth t800 and w900
All a pain in ass to remove
Hauling ceramics from Novi Bečej to Zrenjanin
Total weight around 37 tons
I wouldn't know how
They just stay on to tight
view from bed
Here we have got the metal pods, we always punch a hole in it, releasing the pressure, then put a rachet strap around it, tighten it and turn it loose...
These we have
Going from Gospođinci to Šabac via Fruška Gora mountain pass to pick up load
I have those to
Nice, i dont know placement on your truck but if enough space, i always do it the way i explained
Not enough space on mine lol
Can barely even fit a filter wrench
It’s right up on the hydraulic tank and line
Ooh, then maybe punch a hole in the side of it and if you are lucky You cab stick something in the hole and turn it loose? Ir even that too little room?
To little.
I ended up just getting vise grips and crushing it partially then unscrewing it

Oooof.
blowout?
From the looks of it... It has to be.
i mean could also justve lost tire as it deflated
i dont see any rubber remaining on it unless he removed that
yup
atleast itll wake u up haha
well we are in Detroit rn
I drove a Detroit this morning lol
love this view
Unless you see halos
Every reflection I see has halos
Even after eye surgery
I just suck it up and do trucking during the day
Dang you gonna get spanked soon Tiger

Also I agree, nighttime driving ain’t bad ✌🏼
Done with the driving for the night tho, now imma pull out the bed and watch an episode of Farzar
Nice lol
Hello @manic relic , in the future please don't post pictures while driving again. As rule 2.20 applies here as well. Thanks!
You've been warned for it already.
Yesterday 40°C in France. The night AC was running at full speed.
It was the hottest day in French history.
it was a solid 75 by the Canadian border
Yeah it's really hot here.
first time with overnight saltay in my truck
Your learning in a next gen Scania, I learn in a DAF 🥲
I learned in a Volvo F10 and oldest versions of FH12 as well as an old Scania with the flappy steps with the knee killer in the door
nothing to envy tbf
compare the tech of the scania against an Actros and youll laugh yourself to drath
I learned in a Mk1 FH12, Mk4 FH13 and Scania 113H
And some hours in a Scania S
My favorite was the Mk1 FH12 and the Scania 113H cuz there you actually learned to drive, it wasn't just putting the truck in drive and steering
That sounds nice
Volvo stick shift tho, almost need to be the hulk to move that thing around
Yeah, it's pretty stiff but other than that, I loved to drive that thing. We also had a mk1 FL where the clutch was so stiff, I could stand on the pedal with full weight and it would barely do anything.
This is actually the truck I will be driving once I have my truck license
And it’s not the truck of my driving school. This is a company truck I’m a co driver I help drivers with busy routes etc
Aye and the knob in the old old Volvo as big as the paw of one’s hand 😬
i tought u liked holding big knobs in your hand

Sorry for your loss

43
Luckily it's 20°c here
😩
it's not a lost I'm gonna be home for my bday
I just missing my cat
Meanwhile I learned in a Renault Premium and Renault T lmao
Learnt on those premium manual gearbox and the T had auto
Just a little windy where I'm going to be driving through
Got a 14k and a 13k trailer, should be smooth sailing
Gota love air leaks
The belly dump gates are stuck partially open so it’s leaking air
I’m Happy now
that was the truck I learned on
I'm sure some of you Volvo drivers can tell me what year/model it is because I have no idea
interesting how theres no real signage etc on the trucks
that its a learner truck
here they all got massive L's on it
saw some cool lug nut covers

Unicorn tips?
Or what would you call those.
Not spikes. Cause they have the swirls
There is a 40x40cm folding plate in the front and back that would flipped open but other than that you're right, there are no other labels than that
Most other driving schools at least write their name on the truck though
Doubt you drive that DAF either
Great thanks
It’s just the V3 Volvo FH I believe?
could be
Who else is doing night trucking tonight?
🚚💨
yes
I keep forgetting that Volvo made a long nose truck
Its only 1 inch longer than a 780 or 860
