Yes, a while ago SCS (creators of ETS2 and ATS) created their own multiplayer. You run a game as you would usually in singleplayer, and then you select "Convoy" in game menu. It's very different from TruckersMP - Convoy mode is private lobbies up to 8 players, while TruckersMP is an actual MMO with thousands of players.

If you are hopping from single player over to TMP it will automatically disable your mods.

If the mod doesn't use the base game files, then it will probably mess up something in your game, make sure to revert anything such as your trucks and trailers to base game parts before disabling a mod.

That way you won't have a trailer or a truck looking like complete garbage when entering TMP
