Alright, here's the rundown on my plans

Today, I'll be doing the first 32 polls of Winner's Round 2, and both polls of Loser's Round 1 today, for 34 total polls

Three comments were made:

if you have a scanner and a Sharpie you can pretty easily get pencil drawings imported into a digital format

the Sharpie is important because it darkens your lines if you work in pencil, which makes them MUCH easier to see once you shrink them down to the size of the sprite

sadly i don't have the raw image from the scanner but a lot of scanners have an option to adjust brightness/contrast as well as to scan in pure black/white instead of color, and contrast is important since it helps keep your sprite clear once you shrink it down (you can also just keep the original open in another tab and use it as a reference)

taking a picture with your phone works okay too, you just have to be careful to keep it level with the paper so the drawing doesn't get skewed

No see this is what the prize has to be. First, we implement the entire Hoenn region, including all the Pokémon in it. Then we add all the contest mechanics. Finally the contest winners get added as the default NPCs you compete against in said contests. This plan is flawless and definitely not completely unrealistic in every way
