My total playtime of multiple plays is over 400 hours. I know at least 100 was purely collection time.
I left a note, but I'm aware my collection is incomplete. It's still a work in progress.
My Digimon collection is absolutely not complete, either. There's at least one or two palidramon sprites I don't have, among others.

You can start NG+ and turn randomizer on with it.
You carry no items or money over, only pokemon. However the items the pokemon hold WILL carry over.
All pokemon are devolved, and level 5. Any fusions count as your old self being the owner, so your NG+ pokemon count as traded pokemon and cannot be defused.

That's the first All-in-One run done (technically the second played, the first is still waiting on the E4 until later today)
Gimmick is a fixed pool of 171 mons, each one corisponding to one type combo. Once a mon is used, it is removed until all 171 mons are rolled across multiple runs. If it enters the HoF like these six did, then it is permanently gone from the rotation.

As for the team in question
Licklilicky/Persian, Mono-normal - Normal doin technician things. I wish persian got a better physical normal move than fury swipes but eh. This is also partially me making up for a sprite I used in a previous run getting removed. I like this new one even if my trainer in the last screenshot kinda regrets their elbow placement lol
Starmie/Pikachu, Water/Electric - First pikachu that lived the whole run! Actually swept 3/5 of the E4, including lance after only getting up to +4. Glassy but starmie gave JUST enough bulk to be comfortable with nasty plotting and the light ball just sealed the deal.
Absol/Delibird, Dark/Flying - Super frail but hustle aerial ace went hard, as did hustle feint attack (thanks someone in playthrough talk for pointing out that it was an egg move!) so she actually contributed a lot despite being, well, delibird.
Jumpluff/Infernape - Grass/Fighting - Not as frail as you'd think. I needed a grass after two others died to surge and koga and he lived up to the task. Getting trop kick in the endgame was fun but not used overly much outside of one instance on giovanni.
Toxapex/Bruxish - Psychic/Posion - Amazing sprite, but only showed up after Silph. Did nice things in the remaining potion of the game but sat out of the E4.
Bastiodon/Cofagrigus - Rock/Ghost - Same thing, liked the sprite but showed up too late to play more than a bit role.

Second run of All in One, actually the first one started.
Ninetales/Tyranitar - The starter. Her son (Swirlix/Braixen) was trapped and KO'ed by Giovanni 1, and she went on the warpath and just never looked back. Was using payback for a while until I got access to dragon dance in the endgame which allowed her to sweep both lorelei and agatha despite the lower start-up time
Rotom/Gallade - Iron Valiant. The thing that Would Not Leave. Gatekept a grand total of 16 mons over the run from being added onto the team because of dupes, and even when put into bad situations they still refused to budge. Swept the final rival after some swords dances hm hm.
Miltank/Donphan - ROLLOUT. Another Thing That Would Not Leave, but gatekept a lot less than rotom/gallade did. Mostly put on as a ringer for Surge's gym but stuck around for the whole run. Sweeping Blaine was a nice thanks to a thick fat that I forgot about.
Salamece/Jynx - rather hilariously enough the only male pokemon on this team. Struggled for a while but did okay work as a shelgon/jynx but did nice E4 work once he did evolve, sweeping lance after his lead wasn't super good. (gyarados head.)
Drifblim/Metagross - Crane. Acrobatics goes hard and they were no exception, OHKO'ing anything that dared not being electric type with a special meteor mash present for any fairies that dared to intrude. (and ice/rock types too)
Empty 6th slot - this WAS a galvantula/mr. mime that died to Bruno rolling an aggron head AND rolling sturdy on it AND hitting with iron tail. Sigh*, she was doing so good up until that. Mime heads are always good but this one arguably wants filter even more than compoundeyes!

I'm glad that this screenshot I can now get since it shows I do run every single file as its own playthrough and not just loading these up on the E4's doorstep and swapping teams for each one.

Steelix/Kommo-o solo run on Remix mode. No items in battle.

Early game was pain (due to having unevolved Onix/Jangmo-o against Steel and Ice gyms) also Lt.Surge was hard to beat with Onix/Hakamo-o (with Koffing/Breloom rexisting both my STABs and deleting any setup with clear smog). After getting Steelix/Kommo-o the game became easy (especially bc I have Dragon Dance).

Both of these are old, but I never posted them here. First pic was my very first playthrough, the second pic was my NG+ with randomizer to get more pokemon and start my collection.
I was OP enough that I decided to just flex and give my Houndoom/Gardevoir Cinder Fall more exp.

My starter was Charmander, and I'm an OG Basic Bitch and half the game I had Pidey/Spearow fusion line, Beedrill/Butterfree, and both Nido's and the Hitmon's fused.
The Flygon/Gardevoir is Microsoft, and was one of my first Wonder Trades. Because these are old, none of them have hats yet. I gave Charchu sunglasses, Microsoft the red/white hair hankerchief that May(/Haruka/Sapphire), and Jingross got Ruby's white/green hat on his middle head spike.
I used Doublade instead of Aegislash purely because of wanting ghost katana's.

Yeah I did remix mode on hard but I think I just put way to much effort into making sure all my mons had good natures and made every fusion synergistic as possible

In the future I'll try expert mode and just use mons that look cool lmfao

For example the fusion I used for kelpine (kelp canine lol) was Vaporeon head tangrowth body, but the sprite for tangrowth head Vaporeon body was way cooler, so I imported it as a costum spread to get a maximum stat spread

But it's bulk was low-key overkill the whole game, especially with baton pass wish regenerator

And grass water is a great defensive typing

Another one down, this is run #3 of my all-in-one series.
Pawniard/Tauros - Was playing really carefully around that x4 fighting weakness and he had some issues against agatha (dropped night slash for sucker punch) but did alright nonetheless. Being pawniard didn't feel quite as bad since bisharp/tauros doesn't actually have a sprite.
Mimikyu/Kommo-o - On the other hand, a type that needs no introduction. Was going to be a hakamo-o until I realized the evo was also within 560 BST. Did most of the endgame sweeping work and contributed a lot even before that.
Noctow/Lanturn - This run's Thing That Would Not leave, mostly by the usefulness of its typing more than anything else.
Slurpuff/Tentacruel - Neat idea and a wonky typing and I still think slurpuff's implimentation is bad (link cable? moonblast and draining kiss TM compatibility?) but they worked around it nonetheless.
Heracross/Arcanine - Evolved as soon as I got it in viridian river and it showed, with a nice stat spread and moves. Still not a fan of recoil but flame wheel did perfectly fine on its own.
Latias/Diglett - Diglett body, somehow lived the whole run, mostly off latias's good special defense and early access to recover

Got really lucky that my route 16 encounter (pokeflute snorlax) randomized into kyogre, and my mt. ember encounter (moltres) randomized into a rayquaza.

Thanks to the final team:

• Tangrowth/Hydreigon ("NightmareFuel"), who I sadly had to sack to agatha
• Lurantis/rayquaza ("Ribbon"), carried bruno and lorelei on his own
• Kyogre/Leafeon ("PrimeVeon") who killed most of Lance's birds with scarfed icebeams
• Torterra/Luxray ("Scar"), for leech seed and intimidate support

For these monolockes i do:

• I give myself every line of a single type as fusion material and put them in a separate box (they don't die)
• Play on set mode.
• Catch the first mon on each route, you can fuse this with the mons from the separate box.
• Unfuse/refuse as much as I want.
• Death is permanent for the encounters.
• Level caps.
• Randomised wild mons (150 bst variation); remix hard mode trainers.

That's pretty much it.
Also safari zone is 1 encounter not 5

the main lack of difficulty from pokemon games comes from an experienced player being able to exploit the ai

easy mode doesn't really alter that

it's poorly named, it's really just anti-grind. if programmed level caps were in vanilla pif that'd be a far better way to do difficulty modes

hard is also not harder in an interesting way

tldr all the difficulty options are meaningless and absolutely a valid critique to use easy mode and call the game easy. using 2 mons is actually a fairly neat way to up the challenge

First hall of fame. Yeah, it's easy, but battles are not why I enjot this game. Not a perfect team, just Pokémon I grew attached to while playing and didn't want to switch them for others.

The only difference between easy and normal is that you gain EXP sharing for all team members at once in easy. And you also randomized it, which makes it all the more crazy. I remember the time a Regiduck, a Registeel Psyduck, was a complete wall for me as I didn't random with water types till after that gym battle. Had to brute force it to win.

For this run, I decided to try a type of Fire Emblem challenge where I had to pick fusions resembling FE classes and permadeath for the classic mode feel.

Left to right:

Henriette (Chesnaught/Gardevoir) (Armored Knight): Nice tank with Moonblast, Will-o-wisp, leech seed and spiky shield. My most trusted switch-in to most things.

Gerald (Magcargo/Gallade) (Hero): The silly one. Leaned towards a shell smash and focus sash set. Close combat, leaf blade and night slash. Lots of great coverage but I coudn't get him any physical fire stab.

Ludmille (Meloetta-A/Noivern) (Malig Knight): Life orb stab boomburst. That's 90% of my gameplan with her. Dragon pulse as extra stab, flamethrower for steels and u-turn since it's so good on a lead.

Black Knight (Giratina/Bisharp) (General): Pretty good bulky attacker. Carried shadow sneak for priority, shadow claw for stronger stab and eq and slash for coverage. I ran an assault vest set but I might change it later.

Ymir (Blissey/Gardevoir) (Cleric): Special. Wall. Ran a typical set with toxic, softboiled, light screen and moonblast with leftovers.

Florina (Articuno/Meloetta-A) (Sniper): Nice special attacker I grabbed before the E4. Boltbeam, psyshock and freeze-dry with life orb for the needed extra damage.

This is actually Expert Mode Normal difficulty. I was getting restless from my spritelocke and wanted something tough, so i continued an old save I had.
My team:

• Kissy [Gyarados/Clefable]: with Cosmic Power, it walled Lance's and the Champion's especially hefty opponents, and Magic Guard with Leftovers helped it withstand status effects. Also had Aqua Tail and Play Rough for my Water and Fairy coverage.
• Insect Eater [Talonflame/Persian]: Technician with Fake Out, Flame Charge, Feint Attack, and my favorite: Parting Shot. One of my MVPs. Was able to bait out most of the E4's Full Restores with Flame Charge.
• Excalibur [Slaking/Doublade]: another MVP. Mid-evo to maintain No Guard and allow me to take full advantage of Gunk Shot. Three Swords Dances maxed out his attack, and Shadow Sneak proved itself again and again. Custom sprite by me based on a club, so I'll make a spritework post in a bit for feedback.
• Thrill [Jumpluff/Arbok]: Do not underestimate Jumpluff. This is the second time it's been a dark horse MVP. Also has Intimidate, Glare, and Thief. Bullet Seed helped control some Sturdy and Disguise 'mons, and at near the end I replaced Acid Spray for U-Turn's pivot. A fun tag team with Insect Eater's Fake Out and Parting Shot.
• Thunderbolt [Raichu/Lycanroc (Midnight)]: a late arrival and requires some babysitting as it's double-weak to Ground moves (and everyone has Earthquake). Still, it was my Rock Slider who took down Big Bird in two hits. Also was able to be very funny with Stealth Rock and Roar. (Lorelei's shedtress showed up and immediately got poofed )
• Freakazoid [Mr Mime/Pidgeotto]: The weakest of the team. I was hoping Light Screen would prove more useful as most of my team (Excalibur especially) are weak to Special moves, but she really got bodied. Had Psychic and Flying coverage, though.

I played classic not randomized lol, anyway, I feel like this is a really solid team and I've gotten attached. Special shoutout to my Volcarona/Alakazan for carrying me through many battles, including completely solo'ing the 8th gym leader.

Algar - Alakzam & Gengar fast special sweeper
Blue - Torkal Fortreess with monstrous defense, saldy was the LVP of the e4 because he was a monster for the gyms and random trainers
Lady - Gardivour Zapdos who was the MVP of the e4, just doing so much damage
Palotres - Palosand Moltress who was a fine attacker with a great typing for pivoting
Garacross - amazing with guts and d dance, even though he looks kinda funky compared the rest of the gang
Umbslash - amazing wall, did a very good job on the champion
First playthough, on debug mode for money and rare candies, had on level caps & had a wonderful time, also played on classic, kinda wish i did remix

This is my most underpowered team I've ever made in IF btw. Usually I go hard with making stuff OP, but I just wanted something new, which is funny since I STILL ended up using Azumawak, just without the Thick Club this time.
