it is possible your device might not be properly compatible, I'd do a full send redownload/install of everything, so delete the joiplay and rpgmaker stuff and the game files [and make sure they are actually deleted]

the alt download is the only one that is loosely "preloaded" [in that it comes with all the sprites up to the latest pack]

but the old preloaded files don't exist [those loaded as much of the game as possible to try and make performance better, frog has done some optimization since then]

For Joiplay and RPGMaker, they're APK's, which are basically apps but with extra steps. Delete the from the phone (uninstall). Then go to your files and delete the .zips

Usually long pressing the APK gives the option to uninstall, it is that simple.

Infinite Fusion is NOT a rom, it is a fangame! Read below for more info on the differences.

Rom/ISO = A direct copy of a game taken from an official disc or cartridge. These require an emulator or official hardware to play.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, you can either download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID) or use the alt download (mentioned at the bottom of this message)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps to fix:

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

2 things:

1: yes, we do recommend using an older one. But you can just use the new one while playing the new / different game, then go back to our version if you ever decide to come back to PIF. You can switch around RPGMaker versions

2: This game does run on current version of RPGMaker, we just don't officially support it because it hasn't been fully tested. But it does work, I use modern RPGMaker on my phone

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.

Hey. I’m playing a SoulLink with a friend right now, and we don’t have the same options/features. In his Options menu he has settings like showing Pokémon types directly (and other extra settings), and he can trigger little actions (e.g. a Pidgey landing on his head). I don’t have any of that. We used the same download link and I tried reinstalling, but nothing changed. I had the game installed a long time ago and deleted it—could leftover files or old save data be causing this? My old saves were still there. Any help on how to fix this?

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps to fix:

2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Sup everyone, just started playing IF on my Poco X7, and I gotta be honest, compared to how it played on OPPO A38 (it would freeze every now and then, and give me crash messages with the game still playing for some reason) the Poco X7 plays amazing. It reaches 37-40 fps, did freeze for like, 3 seconds when I reached the first town, but asides from that, it plays really well

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, go to #ask-a-bot and type in ?tag altdownload and reinstall with the guide that Deino replies with. This is only meant for Windows devices. To fix crashes on specific trainers in legendary mode:

1. Leave the area (if in a building, go outside)
2. Toggle trainers from classic to remix (or vice versa)
3. Go back to that trainer and try again.
4. After the battle, you may change the trainers back to their original setting.

If you get a different crash when you toggle the trainers, try moving to a different area.

Hello TechSupport. i just downloaded, reinstalled and updated the game new due to crashing or long blackscreens while playing with speedup. now i tried to play with auto download disabled since i read that i might help with black screens. i downloaded the full sprite set and imported it like said in the guide.

Problem: Pokemon are missing sprites. if i check in the dex they have like 2-10 alternative sprites with artist name but no picture and 2-10 alternative sprites with picture and "imported sprite". is there a way to dix this? i already tried the help dude with clear cache and the second option.

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, go to #ask-a-bot and type in ?tag altdownload and reinstall with the guide that Deino replies with. This is only meant for Windows devices. Hey, I've just installed the game w/ the latest spritepack (for offline play). I booted the game w/ network off and disabled the auto download options. Everything runs fine but it seems the sprites for normal (non-fusion) pokemons just doesn't load? This question mark also shows up on the title screen. Fusion pokemons show up just fine.

I did everything the spritepack installation guide told me to, but clearly I've messed something up.

I'm aware that there's the altdownload ver (just a couple mins ago) but I'd like to try with what I've downloaded first before trying that one out

1. Delete your old launcher folder.
2. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
3. Open the settings tab
4. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
5. Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

1. Delete your old game folder.
2. Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

If you are on a non-Windows device, follow the [guide](#tech-support message) for your device to reinstall.

That’s why your icons are doing that. Only “fix” is to switch them to DNA icons instead. But you also shouldn’t be using performance mode unless your pc can’t handle the normal exe

To fix crashes on specific trainers in legendary mode:

1. Leave the area (if in a building, go outside)
2. Toggle trainers from classic to remix (or vice versa)
3. Go back to that trainer and try again.
4. After the battle, you may change the trainers back to their original setting.

If you get a different crash when you toggle the trainers, try moving to a different area.
