If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".

For never ending loading screens, try turning off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

Note: When you are disconnected from the internet, sprites will not be automatically downloaded resulting in missing sprites. If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. Do NOT download the pack if you plan on also playing while connected to the internet. The spritepacks are also NOT meant to be imported on Android devices!

Where did you get your game files from? The #downloads part of the Discord.
Description of Issue + Steps to Reproduce: Magician does not steal items from opponent pokemon upon landing a hit. To reproduce this, acquire a pokemon with Magician and attack a pokemon that is holding an item. The game will say that the ability triggers, but after the battle there is no item held by the pokemon with Magician.
What you were doing in game when the issue arose: I was attempting to farm tiny mushrooms from Viridian Forest, and was fighting a Paras at the time.
Attach screenshots of the issue. Especially if you get a crash error: Unfortunately, I do not have screenshots.

Ah, I don't know if it matters or not, but I gave my Fennekin his HA by using the fuse - reverse - unfuse trick with the Bellsprout you can trade for in Viridian City.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

And then I turned to OpenSSL library and successfully had it updated after manually set the git config. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well. For Android users, you may also need to turn off your mobile data.

If the game will only work offline for you, you may need to download and import the newest full spritepack from #spritepack-releases. How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups

5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Custom Sprites from the sprite pack not showing up? There is currently a bug with it and not automatically downloading the new custom sprites. We found a workaround though:

1. Don't have the Pokémon fused.
2. Turn off Download Data and Save and Close the game
3. Reopen the game
4. Fuse the Pokemon. Turn Download Data back on. Save and Close the game.
5. Reopen
6. Check the Pokedex -> Sprites tab and your sprite will be there now.

I am having an issue. Every time I try to look at the summery of two of my pokemon(both shiny, the first one is double shiny), I get these errors that then crash the game. It didn't happen the last time I played. I am not in debug mode currently, had just gotten into the game and had not turned it on yet.

If I use debug to make them normal instead of shiny then I can look at their summeries again. Just not while they are shiny.

Sprites download as you play. There are almost 200000 sprites in the game and they can't all load in at the same time.

If you read through the guide, it mentions that game.exe was renamed to InfiniteFusion.exe

you will need to change the sprite if the game has downloaded a new one

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.
