If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".

Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Think I found a bug with level caps in hard mode:

Where did you get your game files from? Discord (using PIFLauncher)
Description of Issue + Steps to Reproduce: level caps in hard mode are 1 level below the expected value (e.g. first gym leader's ace is level 14, but level cap is 13). This appears to be due to the implementation of getCurrentLevelCap in BattleUtils.rb, which rounds down when determining the level cap. However, enemy trainer pokemon levels are increased by 10% and rounded up. Line 46 should probably say return current_max_level.ceil instead
What you were doing in game when the issue arose: trying to reach level 14 before first gym
Attach screenshots of the issue. Especially if you get a crash error: I guess I could attach a screenshot but I don't think there's one in the game that demonstrates this issue. I found the line of code that needs to change and tested it myself so hopefully that's enough

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
4. Install/Update the game files.

If you're not using the Launcher:

Reinstall the Lightweight installer in a NEW folder from Here

Hi, has something changed with the shuffle gym type option? A few months ago when I played a fully randomized run, each gym had pokemon of the new shuffled type in it. I just started a run, with the option ticked, but all the gym pokemon are fully random. Reinstalled the game and tested on a new file, but still the same outcome. Also the trainers in the gym had different pokemon after reloading a save, with the reshuffle option disabled? Also tried to shuffle again etc.

Wondering what the different game files are?

• InfiniteFusion.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game.exe is a duplicate of InfiniteFusion.exe that will likely be removed in a later update.
• InfiniteFusion-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.

Sooooo, I super enjoy that game, holy dang, thank you so much! But I dooo have a tiny issue - as I installed it on my son's PC he had a "New Game+" Option, which I don't have - I updated it to version 6.7 - the same as he has - but why don't I have the NG+ nor the legendary option?
And then I wanted to fuse Chandelure and Sceptile for this super awesome custom sprite - but this doesn't show either TWT

Using the help man won't do anything to fix imported base sprites.
You've got two options:
1: Play with auto download off, and change sprites manually
2: Play with auto download on, DON'T import the unfused sprites - the game will automatically download the spritesheets. (They will only apply after restarting the game if you're using Performance mode)
There is a third option, which is to compile the unfused sprites into sheets, resizing them to 960px, and placing them in the spritesheet folder (which is what I did.)

not sure where else to put this, since it's not really impacting gameplay in any way (other than giving me ridiculous moveset potential), but...is individual Pokemon being able to learn the moves of any Pokemon they've fused with (along with any moves that the other Pokemon may or may not have fused with) via the PokeCenter relearner an intended thing? 'cause...I'm not exactly complaining, but it does definitely seem odd

to give an example, because he was fused with a level 26 Azumarill earlier, I now how a Quilava that can learn both Play Rough and Aqua Tail through the relearner...definitely sure that Quilava can't learn either of those moves.

Also, before anyone asks, it only seems to be affecting the Center relearner; not the menu one.

that one, yes, but it also does it with other 'mons that I didn't reverse, like my Charmeleon/Butterfree that I used for a stretch. My Charmeleon is still able to learn all of Butterfree's moves (plus Beedrill's as well, since said Butterfree was also fused with it at one point)

also, dunno if it will make a difference or not

but I feel it's worth noting that I did also very briefly enable Debug mode to give myself some items; didn't mess with any of my Pokemons' stats tho, and I disabled it once I'd finished giving myself what I wanted

though, if that were a factor, I can't help but wonder why it's effecting only the Center relearner

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

i'm not able to get the full effect of clearing the sprite cache either because resetting displayed alt sprites defaults to a custom sprite, and if that's what it tries to load, the custom sprite seems to permanently show as the japeal sprite

4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

I did not loose any progress and was able to do the fight properly after reopening the game. But yeah I do have some issues with being stuck(not by choice) on WIn 8. and yea, it save And yes, the save location from File B is there. So I just copied the backup data from Windows that I saved in File A. And it worked like it was imported without any errors in the game.

All of those “File B-H” are your save files

So they won’t do anything to your game files other than not load that save slot

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.
