2 things to try then

1. Visit the Help Man in any Pokemon Center and have him fix the game, then see if the issue repeats
2. If it does happen again, I recommend a clean reinstall: delete the folder for the launcher entirely [right click the folder and delete it, then go to your recycle bin and delete it from there as well], restart your PC, then once you are back up and running, redownload the launcher and set it back up again]

Any guide for installing the latest custom sprites? Already paste the sprites to CustomBattlers folder, but the latest custom sprites won't install. I'm also using PIF Installer, but Install Sprites option not showing up.

all sprites come preinstalled with the game and auto-update themselves.

the latter has been the case for a long time. barring some tech issue for a bit

additionally, how you are trying to install them is wrong in the first place.
if you still feel the need to manually install sprites (in 99.9% of cases this is just extra work for nothing) - the actual instructions are listed with the packs.

Hard to tell if it is or not since I dont know what makes you think that.
Some possibilities:

• invisible sprites can be part of an ongoing issue on our end (the game sometimes selecting non-existent sprites) - nothing with the auto download feature.
• not seeing sprites from the lastest pack - I dont think that one has been added to the auto-download yet.

those could be 2 false flags making you believe auto download isnt working.

you could manually add stuff, in that case the guide is in the sprite-pack message of #announcements

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Hey! I recently reinstalled infinate fusion on my pc, and ive come across an issue that hasn't happened before. Anytime i try and boot it up, it keeps auto closing after a second or 2. I made an exclusion for all the files within the folder using norton 360, but keep getting my game closed before it even boots up.

likely one of the sprites affected by an issue on our end. we're aware of it.
(the game randomly selects a sprite on first encounter - for some it has a chance to select a nonexistent sprite).

no big deal - shouldnt happen often and can easilly be fixed by manually selecting a sprite for the affected fusion

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.

Hey @novel tinsel! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

I actually have a theory as to why the invisible sprite one happens, at least some of the time.

In this instance, I was farming on a trainer to get to level cap and they had a valid sprite for the first several reps. But then they evolved and turned invisible. My guess is that it's set to be "Sprite [3]" or whatever and when it evolved, it looked for "Sprite [3]" because it kept the same slot erroneously and when it didn't have anything in index [3], it failsafed nothing.

most "not launching" issues are caused by merging or updating older files with newer files.

delete every folder related to infinite fusion (including the zip and any extras you may have made)
then retry following the guide in #downloads exactly.

then finds the associated graphic for it and displays it.

current issue is, there is a mismatch between the text file, and the actual graphics.
so it will select something based on the text, and then cant find the graphic to display - so displays nothing.

Okay then you're at least safe from malware.
there are quite a few malicious websites out there, and we do not have any website at all.

if it is just this one save - you can try to see if reverting a backup for that one save fixes it.
otherwise, likely just have to make another and see if it keeps happening at the same area.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

if it didnt - you made a mistake in following the import steps.
if it did and you dont see it - you imported it as an alt and didnt check the alts, or you made a mistake in the numbering of the file and it is now the sprite of a totally different fusion than you intended

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.

Hey, just started playing again after a long hiatus, figured I'd start a new randomized run. Are there some gifts that aren't randomized? For instance, dna splicers from pokemart in beginning, pokeballs from professor and his aid, and the gift pokemon you get at the pokemart after delivering Oak's package? I have everything randomized in the options, and fuse everything but thought since it's early game stuff it might be on purpose that these in particular aren't randomized.

Hey yalls. I am trying to get back into the game after a hiatus. It says that if I press the update button in the launcher, the launcher will uninstall itself and install a new version of itself for me.

However, clicking the update button takes me to an external site that prompts me to download a .zip file. When the zip file is extracted, it just has a single windows batch file?

I try to run the batch file, but it says I need to locate the launcher.exe file, which I cannot find in the game directory. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

OF course. So as an update, I was able to update the launcher, but there are two issues:

1. the launcher was extracted to my downloads folder in the default c: drive. I chose to extract it there because I thought the program would automatically remove the old launcher and replace it. However, it does not seem to be the case. I do not know where the old launcher is installed.
2. Speaking of the old launcher, it is not yet removed, and I have no idea how to 'move' the new launcher into the directory where the old launcher is located.

Hey, pretty big issue i play on Random mode and made it so that key items are not randomized so that quests arent blocked. the power cells in the power plant are not key items though so i cant get through to zapdos

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.
