the closest reference point we have is another fan game that uses the same game engine and i think the same pokemon essentials version

Hey @verbal timber! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

How to Update (WINDOWS)

• If you're on or above 6.4.3, double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.4.3 you must redownload and install in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs). Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If you are on a randomized save, make sure to rerandomize your settings after an update. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Sweet so the launcher can’t find the folder you deleted and it’s mad about it. I’d recommend deleting the entire launcher folder and re-extracting (assuming you still have the zip, if not then you can redownload it from #downloads )

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

hey everyone here i am struggling a bit with messing around with the game and want to ask if someone could help me fix this.
ive tried to install a script called "Set the Controls Screen" because im having some problems with using my ps5 controller(keybinding dont really work) now i know i could use dsx to change the buttons to keyboard binding but i would still like to have the game run well without having to have dsx or something else open meanwhile(to be honest i dont know if this script will fix it but trying cant hurt )
ive followed the steps in the scrip installation and got this error. this could be my mistake because some of the files are named differently that in the tutorial (example added in second and third screenshot)
the actual .rb file was suposed to be put "put it between PSystem_Controls and PSystem_System." since those files dont exist( or arent called like that" i first put the script file in the same folder as the rest of the UI stuff( D:\Games\InfiniteFusion\Data\Scripts\016_UI) and got that error. i then tried to put it into "D:\Games\InfiniteFusion\Data\Scripts\052_AddOns" but same error.

i understand if noone can help since i am messing around with the game files but asking cant hurt

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

truth is, with current systems it is near impossible to confidently say "nothing about my system has changed".
as realistically with the amount of background processes, $path changes that happen automatically, drivers, controllers, etc. you cant tell (nor stop it without a load of manual blocks or running inside containers).

Likely it was the combination of your internet and the game though. some funky stuff has been known to happen lately on some networks at the start of the game. We are not quite sure yet what it is, as it isnt consistent.

If it happens again, try closing the game and launching with your internet disabled on your device.

i'm trying to automatically keep up to date with all of the individual custom fusion sprites whenever there's a new pack available (without running the game). i thought the simplest way was to just periodically run INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat, but it looks like that's downloading spritesheets and not individual sprites. a few questions:

1. is there a simpler way to go about this? i know the packs are posted here in the discord but i don't want to have to figure out how to fetch the comments and parse them for those links and whatnot. i guess maybe i could instead just redownload the full sprite pack if the url remains constant?
2. if this is the simplest way, is there some way to unpack those spritesheets to individual files?

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock

How to fix ? mark or Invisible sprites

Both are issues with your internet. The game requires you to be connected to internet and on the latest version to get sprites properly:

• HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

IF this doesn't work, you need to install the custom sprites manually because your internet is not downloading them: Guide to Install Sprites

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

however, sprites get added and removed for multiple reasons all the time. so there is no guarantee a sprite in a video from 1 year ago will still be in the game
