I think moving my save to mobile broke the randomness range, but they are still right in the settings when I talk to the secret guy in the Pokemon center. For example I have range at 75 and found a Lugia fusion before gym 2, surely that shouldn't be possible

You can transfer legitimately obtained magic boots by going onto the save that has them, putting them on, then loading up a new save (go back to title screen, and open the new save)

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, double click the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
   Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.
