How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

  1. Open your game folder
  2. Double click SaveFile
  3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
  4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
  5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
  6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
    Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.

There used to be a way to add your own sprites into folders, now I cant seem to find any folders to do this. I got a premium wonder trade fusion of dratini/phantump, which is rad but come to find out the one I have is not a custom fully evolved and if I switch I completely lose the dragon typing which makes dragonite fusion pointless. The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

  1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
    🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
  2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
  3. Run a virus scan

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

  1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
  2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Trying to edit code to enable cheats will **NOT **work. Magic boots are only available from in game rewards by catching the 501 Base Pokemon.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

  • If you on a version lower than 6.4.1, reinstall in a NEW folder. Don't use your updater, it won't work due to bugs. Reinstalling doesn't remove or require you to move any Save Files. Use the Lightweight installer to install in a NEW folder ➡️ Click Here⬅️

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

  1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your Downloads folder
  2. Delete the .git folder in your game folder. Onedrive will lock this folder and prevent you from updating. If you don't see a .git folder, use the screenshot below to see it.
  3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

I don't know a ton about the game but it almost feels like the game is trying to pull the sprite from the wrong place. I just dug into the sprite sheets in Graphics>CustomBattlers>spritesheets>spritesheets_custom and looking at 263 for magnezone I can see the sprite on the sheet but the game isn't displaying it, even after I added it as a custom sprite.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

  1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
    🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
  2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
  3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use megaman's post to download the real files: ➡️ #downloads message ⬅️

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

  1. Open your game folder
  2. Double click SaveFile
  3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
  4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
  5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
  6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
    Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.

So, I found a way to up the performance of my game, which is great. Though a strange thing is the button for interacting with things (spacebar) has changed to the "C".

Hey @naive junco! You can press F1 (FN + F1 on laptops) to change your keybindings!

Be aware, controllers will be auto mapped to buttons depending on which controller you plug in.

If you want to remap buttons on controller, you need to use Steam since this game doesn't support it. How to use Steam: [Guide](#tech-support message)

Idk if this is something solved in the past. But I set up the mobile version through the guide but every time I try to start a new game it gives me the "warnings" then after hitting understood it'll mention opening the discord in my browser than just close the game. Hey, old time returner here. I'm running the game in Randomizer mode on Linux and despite numerous shuffles, certain things are not changing in the shuffle, such as the gym types. Fixing Randomized Trainers Always Staying the Same Type

  1. Must be on 6.4.6+ for this to work. If you aren't on 6.4.6+, update your game and reshuffle your settings. If you don't know how to reshuffle, type: ?tag reshuffle

  2. You need to go to the Pokémon center, talk to help man and select fix game. Must be done AFTER updating on 6.4.6+

  3. You need to enter any gym and exit. Weird I know, but the dev put in a fix for that bug at entrances to gyms.
