Yeah it's kind of different depending on what you're using, but on 90% of distros it is straight forward. I have it so that my file browser literally just unzips the package in-place as a folder (or file in the case of single compressed files) of the same name. Many people use an application called the "file roller", and there are a bunch of other ones too. I think it's a safe bet that whoever is following this guide knows how to do this one task/or can figure it out easily enough.

you would download the beta zip and move that to your other drive, then using Winrar, right click it and extract and it will extract to its own folder in your other drive

if you need a guide, the one in #downloads I wrote can help, you would just be using the beta zip instead of the zip in the google doc

I wouldn't say all that, especially with the 6.4 update. It has a lot of QOL and fixes in it that are going to be appreciated. Could it be faster with more people? Sure, but his updates are pretty well thought out instead of making small simple throw away stuff just to put tape over a bug

Also confirmed that the updater script works fine, to see it running you have to run it using the terminal shortcut in bottles (you'll see it when you read that part of the instructions, it isn't difficult at all). LOL real. It's not like I can really take the credit. It's the people over at flatpak and also the people at bottles who made things so easy.

flatpak manages your software shit, letting you run pretty much any program on any distro, and bottles manages all your wine shit, making it easy to run most windows programs on any distro.

Yeah bottles is basically the same setup as what we just changed over to on Mac, but it is named Whiskey. But either way, at least they are taking a step in the right direction. Mac and Linux are usually just ignored when it comes to gaming lol

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

What I mean is can i delete the old one and put the new one or do I have to mix both? When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Personally I would recommend a reinstall.
6.2.4 had a different install method, and all sprites pre-installed (thus having over 400.000 files) due to some technical issues on our end - These issues should be mostly solved in the new update. so a fresh install would remove like 300.00+ files.

but technically you could just update with the installer when the update drops.

Hey @snow lodge! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 470 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-470). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

Also .dat files are compiled data so you can't read it.

And most typos are on the maps themselves, not in the code. The dev doesn't accept map updates. This project isn't setup for many outside contributors

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites from in game settings, save your game, and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder. These files are your new game folder. Don't mix them with your old files.
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

Hello, I just got a new computer and was wondering how I could transfer my save file to the new computer.

Your save file is located in: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\InfiniteFusion.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

We renamed the app to InfiniteFusionLauncher. In doing that, it broke the button to update. To fix:

1. Click the Update button. A mediafire page will open. Close the app.
2. Redownload the Setup zip from mediafire, extract it, and run it again.
3. This will install InfiniteFusionLauncher.
4. Uninstall the old app - Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type InfiniteFusionApp, right click and select Uninstall
