Hey @opaque tapir! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Decided to do a randomized run of the game today. I keep finding some Pokemon that keep coming up as ? and can't quite figure out how to fix that. I did the "fix game" thing from the guy in the Pokecenter upstairs, also ran the update/installer just in case. Download sprites is turned off as well. Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

from what i read, anbernic devices often come with an android sd card either already it in or in the package

Depending which model you have, its OS supports dual booting also. Setup a Microsd with it to swap between the two, but we have no guides for that. We only support infinite fusion tech help not outside device setup and stuff

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game-preloaded.exe is the lesser version of the game just to make it work on slower computers. It requires ALL sprites to be local on your computer to work properly, but has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart.

Your antivirus will tell you more than we can. If you run your antivirus and it says I didn’t detect something then that should be promising. But just make sure you have deleted all the files you downloaded and extracted and save file that came with it.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF
