How to Fix Manually

Lightweight Installer with ALL Sprites + Guide

• Download, Extract to a new folder, Open Game.exe. Turn Download Sprites off from in game settings and save.
• Don't merge or copy anything into it, this zip has everything setup and ready to play for you with ALL sprites.
• This carries over your save file, you don't need to move or download anything else.

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Both options will update the game files for you. If it didn't, rerun the update and wait for it to finish. Take and share a screenshot of the window to #tech-support

By default? No. But keybinds don’t transfer a lot of the time either so if you set custom ones on one, then it won’t transfer to the other

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites from in game settings, save your game, and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder. These files are your new game folder. Don't mix them with your old files.
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

If you did ALL above, share a screenshot of you doing step 6 of the guide to show us your game files.

Hey @potent vigil! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-default.exe is just a copy of the above.
• Game-preloaded.exe is the lesser version of the game just to make it work on slower computers. It requires ALL sprites to be local on your computer to work properly, but has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Hey @limber pelican! Sprite Server is Down but the guide below has the Semi-Working version for Android. YOU WILL STILL HAVE MISSING SPRITES, but the best we can do until the Sprite Server is back up.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

assuming you’re adding the full spritepack how long it takes depends on your pc

you’re device might just not be able to handle replacing all the sprites

It never got stuck like this before when importing sprites. My computer is gaming pc so it shouldn't be having that much trouble though I guess it is kinda considered old. (before covid)

the game runs pretty okay on some other cheaper android handhelds, too, like the Odin and stuff. YMMV ofc

The Sprite Server is currently down for everyone.

• This means you will see question mark sprites or invisible sprites for Pokémon.
• We’re actively working on a replacement, and a beta version of the new server is already being tested. While we don’t have an ETA for a full fix, progress is underway to restore sprites as soon as possible.

How to Fix Manually

Lightweight Installer with ALL Sprites + Guide

• Download, Extract to a new folder, Open Game.exe. Turn Download Sprites off from in game settings and save.
• Don't merge or copy anything into it, this zip has everything setup and ready to play for you with ALL sprites.
• This carries over your save file, you don't need to move or download anything else.

I got them from the download channel on this discord it's under important stuff. Once you downloaded it you use an an like 7zip or winrar to open it. And drag the custombattler into your graphics folder of the game. Then once the game loads it will give you a prompt asking what you wantto do the sprites and then you click import.

They’re having a separate issue. Unless you did that to get rid of missing sprites which you weren’t supposed to do
