Hey @steel hollow! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder so it is conflicting
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

Hey @flat sparrow! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder so it is conflicting
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

If you did ALL above, share a screenshot of you doing step 5 of the guide to show us your game files.

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

Depends on your pc. If you have an anti virus, you can pause it so that it doesnt scan every file extracting, but extracting in general goes as fast as your computer can handle it

Wondering what the different game files are?

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

Ohboy. you kinda made a huge mess of it

First bit you were kinda kinda well, then it all fell apart.

• you have an unmatched quote (in an already incomplete command)
  this causes all lines after it in the terminal to not be new commands, but part of the first command - until you match a quote to it

which caused this whole mess of combined commands and newline characters (\n)
instead of the proper stuff being added to $PATH

I feel like you also typed/copied your user data here yourself.
since quote doesnt output user data at the start of the terminal normally.

in short:

• You were doing great at the first 3 steps
• forgot to read the next part of "next steps"
• tried the same commands again - but now in various wrong ways

that is said in another step ... the save files are not stored in the game folder, its in the appdata folder on your pc
if youre on mobile, the save file is in the game folder

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

The Sprite Server is currently down for everyone.

• This means you will have question mark sprites or invisible sprites for Pokemon until it is back up.
• We don't have an ETA on a fix, but we currently have a beta out to try and test the new server.

How to Fix Manually

Lightweight Installer with ALL Sprites + Guide

• Download, Extract to a new folder, Open Game.exe. Nothing else needs to be done.
• Don't merge or copy anything into it, this zip has everything setup and ready to play for you with ALL sprites.
• This carries over your save file, you don't need to move or download anything else.
