Hey, I don't know if this is a common issue, but I'm not able to vire any sort of a start button for the game. I'm just stuck on the opening screen but can't start the game. What's the deal with that, is it a bug or is there a difference in key binding?

Hey @half silo! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

you need to skip the intro

using any other starter than the gen1 requires to skip the intro, otherwise you land in an unused map and the game crashes

i cannot change my keybinds for my controller. i want to switch my A and B on my controller but when it asks me for an input it does not recognize any face buttons. I can change the intput to a left or right stick direction but none of the face buttons triggers or shoulder buttons works.

i can play the game regularly and the game notices all my buttons but I really want to switch the A and B buttons to make it more in line with a DS or switch layout.

Well i can confirm everything is installed properly and step 5 is done right. The Errors Persists. He was able to get to set up a randorun, but when it got to Parsing the sprites it crashed and gave this (Photo).

what he can try is to go into the save folder and delete any save files in there (or move them if hes attached to them)
then see if any errors still pop up.

For some reason, the game isn't shuffling the gym types, even though I have that option selected.

I can go to the Help Man and he can re-shuffle them, and it re-shuffled the first gym into Dark, but Misty was still water, unless this was a rare situation where it shuffled her into Water.

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.57gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder so it is conflicting

Hey @sterile pivot! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

the confirmed devices were made in 6.2.0 .. or even before ... later game versions require more ressources and since the repo is down even much more ressources ... so some confirmed devices might not work anymore
also due to the sprite repo being down, you download around 160k images together with the files ... so that might cause performance issues since mobiles arent made to handle that amount of images

Sorry if this is like something with an easy fix which I somehow didn't notice but the sprites don't even show up in the first place for me. I did the whole reopening the game and turning off and on the sprite download, and fusion spirtes work but normal spirtes don't even show up in the first place.

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-default.exe is just a copy of the above.
• Game-preloaded.exe is the lesser version of the game just to make it work on slower computers. It requires ALL sprites to be local on your computer to work properly, but has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart.
