the only reason the rar would be messed up is if it got corrupted during the download

your best bet is just get the work around file if on windows

if you are on mac, linux, chrome or steamdeck, those downloads have sprites by default [they should be up to date to have up to and including the august pack]

Hey @strange glen! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Hey @astral frigate! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

2. Double click SaveFile

I downloaded the new sprite pack for August using the link in Announcements and didnt see the blacked out message in Downloads- it didnt seem to break anything when I opened the game. certain sprites were still broken on the opening screen and I know thats because of the site being down so I didnt think much of it. I also didnt plan on getting preloaded and was going to wait until the site is fixed so I dont mess anything up trying to download preloaded, but if I were to download it will it have issues from me downloading the sprite pack, or would it be fine?
