Hey @sharp scaffold! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Hey @muted walrus! Do you need to install sprites? No. The game by default install sprites as you encounter Pokemon over the internet. No need to install anything.

Why do we have sprite packs? If you have unstable internet, you can use the sprite packs to install them manually using this Guide.

Hey @muted walrus! If you are on version 5.3.1.2 and higher, follow the info below. If you are on a version lower or don't see the files, you will need to reinstall the game in a new folder using our guides (this doesn't delete your save): [HERE](#tech-support message)

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

for you, i'd just play something else

the all sprites option is not great for phobile

1. because unless you download and extract it on pc first then move it over to your device, it can take about half a day to do that on your device
2. most devices aren't really meant to have 400K images shoved onto them

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Hey @misty basalt! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Late reply but that's what I've been trying to do earlier. But I can't keep the save file in the new redownloaded zip file of course, because again, I'm on mobile. I get what you're saying about keeping my progress because I've played Pokémon RPGXP games on PC before but it's not the same for JoiPlay. I had to transfer the save to the complete sprites one. It worked but the issue is the maps are glitched in the completed sprites game and even though I already optimized maps in JoiPlay, they were still glitched. So therefore, I had to move some of the sprites. Apologies for the misunderstanding.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

That is normal for preloaded because it is the lesser version of the real game. Your computer can’t handle the normal version so you have to restart the game if you want to see fusion icons.

Again, the SPRITE SERVER IS DOWN, you cannot download sprites. Instead you need to use the link in the picture to download the game right now

saves are stored separate from the game files unless you are on phobile

downloaded the game from the guide and turned off Download sprites in game and it is working
