so what pokemon are you seeing. If you have randomizer set to always fused and go to route 22 for example, you will get about 5 base mon encounters. But throughout the day cycle, you will get random fusions that will always include the base mons so about ~15 different combinations.

also assuming you selected Area randomizer

global makes it so all pidgey = ratatta . so everywhere a pidgey would be you see ratatta so might be what you are seeing

Delete your game folder (this doesn't delete your save) and Download the game from here: Link

Extract it into a new folder and open Game.exe from it. This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files.

Then create a new game but use Area randomizer and we will go from there

that is far more complex to do, hell i don't think even the "official" randomizer for the mainline games can do that

and that randomizer has been in the works for longer

just the way the game is. it randomizes all encounteres before you start the game and outputs it to a file. The encounters in this game just read off a file.

to make it full random, you would have to change it to not read that file anymore and make a new method of randomizing at the time of encounter and storing it. But with how people's computer perform now, it would be very laggy

I can't remember how I originally ran the install/update .bat and looking over the Mac Install guide I found seems to be more about how to install and run Homebrew and Wine. • HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it.
6. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

Trying to edit code to enable cheats will **NOT **work. Magic boots are only available from in game rewards by catching the 470 Base Pokemon.

The only help we will provide to "fix" your issue is to give you the information to delete your game folder and reinstall using the files in #downloads message. This does not affect your save files.

So I'm having an issue: I was able to start a randomized game for a soulocke with a friend, but I wanted to play when we couldn't together. Problem is that now starting a new game locks up on generating the wild encounters file. Any idea what's causing it?

I've tried verifying the files using the Update in the launcher

I could try to alter how sprites are loaded or even reinstall, but I was wondering if some other less drastic solution might be known

Only using a fraction of my computer's resources, so I don't think it's a hardware load issue

Hey @thin sun! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

The game only uses one randomized file for all your save slots so if you start a new randomized game, it will rerandomize it for all save files

The easiest solution would be to just have multiple game folders so that game folder A is for only soulocke and game folder B is for whatever you want to do

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.

hi everyone, i just encountered a weird crash just now, so my version of the game is 6.2.3. Me and my Little brother played it yesterday without issue and just now when i wanted to open it it just opens the usual black screen before the opening but it just closes and nothing happens.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

yeah pokeradar chaining is flaky. I think i got it confused.

Repel effect only works if you're higher level than the wild mons in the area

If you are getting too many encounters, you need a lead pokemon higher
if you are getting to the shaky grass spot, but no encounter, lead is too high.

weather also affects this, flutes does as well, some abilities affect it as well (ILLUMINATE, :ARENATRAP, :NOGUARD, INTIMIDATE, :KEENEYE)

I have similar issues with missing sprites / question marks, but I already downloaded and installed the sprite list, and when I check my indexed folders, I find the sprites that are failing to appear in the game. Also experiencing related error on launch which says "'...\InfiniteFusion\Graphics\CustomBattlers\customBaseSprites[random sprite from that folder' not found."

are you opening the game from a shortcut? if you did install the sprites properly and still seeing missing sprites, you might be opening it from a shortcut pointing to the wrong game folder.

Also the crash for that error only happens if you didnt setup preloaded. Preloaded is a lesser version of the game and needs a specific set of sprites to work, they are not the custom sprite packs

Im not sure where to ask this, but has anyone else noticed a build-up of lag/stutter when walking through surfaces that generate footprints (grass, puddles, etc) when playing the game for too long? It's most noticeable if you play the game sped-up, since it builds up a lot quicker.

At it's worst the game visibly freezes between each step when in grass, and it only goes away if i close and re-open the game. Is it just me or is it a known thing?

Alright, I spend a bit of time replicating the issue. I got a couple posts so bear with me here.

Here's 2 videos of the game running "normally", on both regular and x4 speed respectively.

I then went to the Celadon City pond (the one with all the grimer) and swam in circles for roughly 20-25 minutes at x4 speed, knocking out every pokemon that appeared. Basically what i'd do if i was training HP EVs.

After that, the game stutters whenever i step in grass/puddles, very noticeably if on x4 speed.

It seems to only work when getting into/out of battles, as i couldnt replicate it when i had repels on.

this game uses an old engine and sometimes new tech isn't that compatible

There is an AMD video card too that causes issues with its performance mode and nvidia card that also causes it to lag

video cards usually dont matter for this game, but very new ones and their "performance" options have messed with the game

Delete your game folder (this doesn't affect your save) and download the game from here: Link

Extract it into a new folder but make sure to leave it in your Downloads folder and open Game.exe from it. This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files.

Trying to start up a new game after updating my app, when I go through the Randomizer settings I get errors.

First time it crashed the game.
Second time I got this:

I'd created a separate folder for it and linked that.

Went back and just deleted the extra step to
C:\Users\NAMEHERE\InfiniteFusion

Linked this, now it works fine.
