If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.

I cancelled the process early but I'm not sure how to reset the sprites that did manage to be altered. My starter bulbasaur is invisible, and I tried turning Download Sprites off then back on but it doesn't refresh the sprites. any advice please?

best bet would be to delete the game files [not the app stuff, but where ever you directed the app to install the game, all of that], and reinstall the game

Area: Wild Pokémon are replaced randomly for each route.

Global: Wild Pokémon are replaced with other Pokémon on a species per species basis, so if Sunkern replaces Rattata in route 1, it will replace Rattata everywhere else.

Sandina was the most common though, and the most common encounter after the update was shroomskull. But I think that can be explained by my mistake of not porting over the old encounter_randomized.dat from the old folder to the new one. What seems to be an odd outlier though is the pinsir/cacnea outdoors counter staying the same.

I should also note that all the rocks to smash outside a cave all seem to share the same encounters. My last randomized run had venonat/goldeen showing up every time.

the game plays perfectly for a couple hours after launching, and closing then re-launching the game fixes the lag for a while. I have it installed on my main 2tb ssd, no one drive. i'm not really familiar with how applications work with the hardware of the computer to know what parts might be interacting poorly with the game

hey! i only joined this server because i never figured out how to undownload once I got bored, I tried just deleting the file and it keeps randomly redownloading after a few days or so, usually about 5, is there anyway i can permanetly undownload it until I want to play it again?

Why do you want to delete and redownload every handful of days. Doesn’t really make sense to me. If you want to delete it, just delete the folder. The game itself is just a folder of files

That means you have it in onedrive or a synching app

It saved to your cloud and is redownloading it

I cannot but all I can recommend is look at your computer and see what you have. For example, onedrive. Then google how to log into onedrive and it should show you what files are backed up to it and delete from there.

But the game itself doesn’t have a redownloader or something that automatically reinstalls.

hello, new to the server and returning to the game. Put about 100hrs into it a year or so ago and then dropped it, got interested again and picked up where I left off. Problem is that I'm searching for Larvitar right now, and I've had a sudden issue where using the PokeRadar is causing the game to crash.

Hey @ornate phoenix! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.
