if your game is closing without an error message that means your computer is crashing it. Not that the code is breaking.

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.

This has fixed this issue for many people

If not, I have a guide on how to see what errors your computer is throwing from event viewer, but something on your end is crashing the game

Just FYI, this wouldn't work and if their computer has multiple profiles, this messes where the save files are stored.

Ex: If 2 people share a computer and person in chat is the non admin, the save is going to be saved in the admin folder not their own. So they wouldn't be able to access their save without admin permissions

I have a save file for a steam game, if I want to edit it, I make it a text file, put it in the program made to unencrypt the data, then convert it into a dat, then a JSON, then feed it to a program and it allows me to edit the raw code, I feed it back to a program, then reconvert it to a txt file

Having a strange issue that I was hoping I could get some assistance with. Just recently got back into playing again after a while away. I redownloaded the game a couple days ago to update to the newer launcher and the latest game version (the version I had previously was using the older launcher with the sprite collage background). After loading up my old save, I notice that almost all of the random encounters and Trainer battles are pulling up sprites for the wrong Pokemon. It seems like the game is pointing to the wrong files.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

sometimes running the installer as admin works. but not always.

Hi everyone, I don't know if you'll be able to help me resolve my problem but it seems like my save file is corrupted. I just tried opening it to check some info inside of it and I think that's how I broke it, maybe that was a binary file or something like that and wasn't intended to be opened. Is there a way to recover my save file or to get my progress back ?

Anytime you open your save and literally change anything, it corrupts it. I know, I tried before. There isn't a way to fix this at all

• turn off auto save entirely
• manually save semi frequently
• if need be; feel free to make a copy of your latest save and stash it somewhere away from where your save files actually are stored
