Hey @lime terrace! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

The sprite pack? First, you don't need it if you're on the latest version of the game. Second, if you want to use it anyway then you need to unzip it. Then drag the custombattlers folder into your graphics folder.

I did a search in this thread for line 189 and saw some similar issues, didn't exactly see a solution from what I'm seeing, but the closest thing I could see was that it may be a corrupted save file, and there's a pinned message on here that might help you with it potentially.

I'm not 100% sure if the error 189 is a corrupted save, but that could be the case. Best bet i'd say would be to run the Install_or_Update again, and see if you can 'update' the game.

I'll be real with you. I'm not sure. I think not, but for mobile maybe.
If you are playing the normal version on a PC with an internet connection, you don't need to bother adding sprites or anything. It gets them in real time as needed.

Can someone help me understand this (what I assume is) crash message. I tried adding more pokemon for wild encounters for some certain areas through 'ingame' debug abilities and tried walking through the area but it the game got an error/crashed. I tried changing the all number next to the Probability (Description: Relative probability of choosing this slot) to add to 100 but it still crashes the game when saving changes and make happen the added wild encounter pokemon/s. The map I specifically tried modifying with the wild encounters part was Id 90 and 102.

Hey @tawny night! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @merry kite! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

This isn't really a mod thing but uh, the game shouldn't be malware. Try getting it from #downloads again and extracting it and stuff, the game should come with all the things neccesary for installation

Best case scenario, if you have a PC I'd transfer your save over and ditch the mobile version since it's not supported by us. Could also post it in #1142871804269052004 and see what they say.

What that means is you're using the mobile version which isn't our program, it's just the game, being run through an experimental program called Joiplay that has nothing to do with infinite fusion. Soooo, if something goes wrong, there's 'some' fixes we know about, but in the end unless someone knows what they're doing in Joiplay to specifically fix the issue, there's not a lot WE can do specifically.

So if you want to post it in #1142871804269052004 , they can confirm if it's a bug with infinite fusion, or with Joiplay.

In the … menu choose "optimize backgrounds". Or long-press the game icon you created in JoiPlay and select "optimize maps". This process takes a few minutes.
If that doesn’t work, you can try a complete wipe of the install and then reboot the device.

I have put together an unofficial "Preloaded" version. IMO this is the way to go for people with performance issues or those who struggle with scripts and extracting files. It provides the easiest 100% offline "just extract the zip" setup for the alternate launcher.

The downsides are that this zip is 3.1GB, and the user MUST open it with WinRAR or 7-zip, not Windows file explorer, then extract with the buttons in the program, not drag-and-drop or right-click menus. Ideally extracted right to C: and not to Desktop or Documents. The extraction will take a long time, doubly so if not done that way.

Currently looking for feedback and someone with issues to try it. I would like to suggest it for the next person that has trouble using .bat files or extracting to the correct folder.

What this contains, in order:

• A clean 5.3.1.2 install.
• Hungry Pickle's "Sprites.zip"
• All autogen and custom sprites as of October 9, 2023 via Hungry Pickle's download script and Github

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

I use Proton 7. The game runs at 40 FPS so it's kind of janky if you don't also cap the FPS limiter and screen refresh rate to 40, but still shouldn't lag afaik
