I feel like that fusion would be a monster wall.

Shuckle giving 230 base defense and sp.def while blissey is giving 255 (or 250 with Chansey)

It gets access to the Blissey wall attacks, Natural cure, and has a stupid high base health and special defense stat with an actually respectable defense stat (2/3rds of 230 is still over 150 defense.)

I would go either for a specific move or ability first. But going for stats first works as well

Usually i come up with an idea and then see how i can make it as good as possible

And the ideas usually come from specific moves or abilities. It can also just be something that would be fun to you

Yeah, as a pure beat stick, that's a nasty combo.
Gardagius (or whatever it would be called) just sounds like it would look really nice.

It also gets access to fairy moves which, while not stab anymore can be super spooky. Like Draining kiss.

Sadly, the only skin right now is Mismagius / Gardevoir, not the other way around.

Something I was thinking about doing was Shuckle + Aegislash. You have absurd defenses, and then you go second and hit them with with your stance change so your defense becomes your attack. Then you just change right back.

Shuckle/Aegis for the Sp Atk version, Aegis / Shuckle for the Physical attacker.

Aegis/Shuckle would also be safer since you're going in with 23 base speed
