Ampharos/Blastoise

But honestly if you just fuse two Pokemon who perform the same role but are different types you'll typically make something decent

Infernape is a fast mixed attacker so your ideal candidate is a Pokemon who let's infernape specialize onto one of those stats

Blastoise is a bulky water type whose objective is to take a hit and carry through to the next turn so he can revenge kill
