For those who are having a hard time drawing hats, @outer basin has created a .psd file that has templates of a head from different angles so you can try sketching your hats to get a better mental image of their shape. Each head angle is on a different layer.

Hey there. I was modifying @ kingeroyals Sea Captain hat Trainer Image (not overworld) for personal taste and mayhaps if okay to post after. I dm'd them to ask for permission, but no response...
Just wanted some feedback on some things I was personally unsure about. Not sure if this is the place, or if I should move to #custom-outfits-discussion
Was just me wanting to "clean it up", make it more sharp kinda? Least that was my initial reasoning

1. If I should either Stretch the hat out more horizontal so it covers the head more evenly, or just remove that back section of hair.
   Also wasn't sure If I should continue the white more to the back in that case.
2. I kinda like it, but was wondering if there was a better way to do the shadowing?? Royal does it in the original, but I felt it was a bit much ingame, but when I tried adding it back it kinda covered a lot so I kept flip flopping wondering, but now it's just a strong straight line which makes me wonder.
3. Pointy tip?

Overall I kinda like it, but if there was any input I can gain by asking actual art ppl, thought I might improve it.

You would have to figure out how to replace the naked trainer sprites with your desired replacements, then import some transparent 'clothing' to wear, because the game won't let you run around nakey

Edited the shoes and moved the left edge of the skirt up a bit. That smoothed out the curve a little and gave me a bit of room to show the forward leg.

I've been having some issues with the legs overall. I'm beginning to think I don't know how shoes work

I'm satisfied with the back foot, but I'm still figuring out the front foot. That being said, I'll be starting work on OW sprites soon (in addition to continued touch-ups on the trainer) unless someone has any critique on the design itself
