Reasonable enough
Read the lore book best I could (on phone), so I can understand the Porygon fusion
Are these three suitable for release?
Getting to it now
POKENAME can simultaneously restore health and accumulate psychic energy with sunlight. If necessary, POKENAME can convert energy stored in its buds into psychic energy, but this will lead to prolonged weakness.
POKENAME spends most of its life either basking in the sun or protecting its flower bud. The rest of its body soaks up any attacks made against it. Sometimes simply staring at its bulb the wrong way can scare it away.
POKENAME collects a large amount of withered plants inside its shell, and then hangs itself in a cool and ventilated place using vines. Although the fermented liquid has a fragrant scent, its most suitable use is as a fertilizer.
It seems that I added an extra line break when I uploaded this just now...
I’ll fix it tomorrow, just a small thing
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+shuckle/
POKENAME collects a large number of flowers in its shell and then uses vines to tie itself to a tree to camouflage. The flower tea fermented inside its shell is very fragrant, but most bug Pokémon dislike it.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+magcargo/
POKENAME uses corrosive liquids to dissolve rocks to supplement nutrients. Its buds gradually warm up as activity increases.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+corsola/
The branches on POKENAME's head are loved by many Pokémon and are also an excellent spice. When there is a supply of pure water, the branches of POKENAME regenerate very quickly, which is why many trainers raise POKENAME for profit.
Very cool entries, I've marked my approval with the "Post It" emoji
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+delibird/
POKENAME's tail is filled with soil. When it basks in the sun, this soil becomes more fertile and is then used by it to fertilize plants that are waiting to bloom.
I think the tail might actually be a bag, like a delibird bag
Yeah, I didn't mention that directly because the shape of the picture makes it obvious that it's a bag
What may be obvious to you may not be obvious to the player.
POKENAME has a bag-like tail filled with soil. When it basks in the sun, this soil becomes more fertile, and then it uses it to fertilize the plants waiting to bloom.

POKENAME lives in groups and is hostile to all outsiders. The flames in its mouth have a unique ability to strip the life from its enemies while preserving nutrients in the ashes.

The buds carried by POKENAME have the power to dispel pain, and just being nearby can heal illnesses. Although the weight of the flowerpot is negligible to it, the size of the buds is already to the extent of affecting its field of view.
If it senses sadness with its fluffy fur, a Ivysey will rush over to the sad person, however far away, to share an egg of happiness that brings a smile to any face. To support its bulb, Ivysey's legs grow sturdy.
HP: 125. Attack: 27. Defense: 27. Speed: 56.
Special Attack: 78. Special Defense: 98.
Sprite by fizito.
The buds carried by POKENAME have the power to numb pain, as simply being nearby can soothe inflammation. The weight of the flowerpot is negligible, but the size of the flower obscures its vision.

The pot that POKENAME carries on its back is filled with a liquid that turns into incense as soon as it flows out. Although there is a legend that POKENAME can bring wealth to people, all the plants around it release terrifying lightning.
Ideas about wealth come from: 1. It includes legendary Pokémon. 2. Meow statue. 3. The pokinder shows that it carries incense, which indicates that this image is at least related to some kind of worship.
The pot that POKENAME carries on its back is filled with a liquid that turns into incense as soon as it flows out. Although there is a legend that POKENAME can bring wealth, approaching is difficult as the plants around it produce frightening sparks.
What's wrong?
Had to fix something
Was it a grammar or phrasing fix? The text the translator gave me didn't even change
I meant I had to fix what I wrote with an edit
@lone prism Please only type your username when submitting entries. Since your display name can be changed at any time, we rely on discord usernames to track authors. For example, my username is "quackquackattack".
It will be fixed this time but if it happens again we will be denying future entries.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+pupitar/
POKENAME flies to areas with more sunlight by spraying gas. Although the gas carries a floral fragrance, the sand particles in it may cause lung disease.
Neither of the Pokémon that make up the fusion can fly, so it doesn't make much sense. I'd fix that before we continue.
Pupitar is more like a cocoon.
The illustrated book shows it can move by jet, and the Chinese illustrated book translates this as jet flight, which I think is basically the same thing.
I need to see the source on this.
Oh
The illustrated part of the third generation
( o3o) ...both my display and username are empathnaga...?
POKENAME flies to areas with lots of sunlight by propelling itself forward with a burst of air. Although the gas carries a floral fragrance, the sand particles in it may cause lung disease.
In your case, do not capitalize your username.
It should be empathnaga
By the way, I mentioned flying when I wrote the original version of this entry.
https://www.fusiondex.org/bulbasaur+pupitar/
I'll look into it
I already gave you a reply
POKENAME flies to areas with lots of sunlight by propelling itself forward with a burst of gas. Although the gas carries a floral fragrance, the sand particles in it may cause lung disease.
Oh, that was wrong, I thought I did, but the wording only mentioned taking root.
It's fine, don't worry about it
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+bonsly/
Although POKENAME's head looks completely like a flower bud, most of the exposed part is a stony shell. The real flower bud is in the gap at the top of the head, and the viscos liquid that flows out like honey is actually bitter brine.
POKENAME's head looks like a flower bud, but it is made out of a stony shell. The real flower bud lies within the gap on its head and releases a viscous, bitter brine that flows like honey.
ok I'm gonna bang out the heart list today
Go for it
Why would it be made of steel? Neither components are Steel type?
Don't worry too much about it, it has been dealt with. The entry is also from two months ago
Pokédex entries don't activate based on inventory?
Sorry, saw them being brought up and some of them just make me concerned lol
Understandable, that is why I told them that they should post entries here until they align with the guidelines in the lorebook.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+magnezone/
POKENAME has a strong sense of territory and will clear any plants growing within it. Its slender flower buds can sense plants that are growing.
This one is a funny sprite
POKENAME is a territorial creature and will clear plants growing within its domain. Its slender flowerbuds can sense plants that sprout.
Plants.. stop growing?

oreee relies on a translator to write entries, so I've been charitable with translations
Oooh right, my bad

Sorry I forgot, I've been super busy recently
I haven't been able to write an entry in weeks
It's alright, I know its finals week for some folks, and work ramps up around summer time for others
To put it bluntly, try electrocuting those seeds that are trying to germinate
If it wasn't a special effect, it would be a terrible accident
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+tangrowth/
Except for its flower bud, POKENAME can quickly regenerate other parts. It usually puts its flower buds and leaves on top of its head to bask in the sun, and when it encounters danger, it hides them in the vines.
POKENAME can regenerate most of its body quickly, but cannot do so for its flower bud. The flower bud and leaves are left exposed to absorb sunlight until it is in danger, enveloping the delicate bundle with vines.
@viscid light Please make sure you are posting your entries here for review for a bit before submitting further 🙂 Thank you
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+gardevoir/
POKENAME already has strong psychic abilities, needs to concentrate beneath sunlight to focus its powers. It can predict when flowers will bloom, bringing its Trainer over for the two of them to enjoy the display together.
Maybe instead of "still needs to grow further in the sunlight", you could specify "needs to concentrate beneath sunlight"?
Trainer should be capitalized. But also, specify "flowers" instead of "plants". Instead of "enjoys appreciating this moment", which implies that you mean the very moment the person is reading the entry, you could refocus it to say "It can predict when flowers will bloom, bringing its Trainer over for the two of them to enjoy the display together."
is that so? ?client=gtx
…I’m pretty sure the translator still doesn’t work correctly this time, at least it doesn’t have capitalized initials.
Well make sure to read the first part too. I recommend needing to concentrate beneath sunlight because growing further would be evolution, while this should be a self-contained entry. So "needs to concentrate beneath sunlight to focus its powers."
I noticed it while reading and then copied the original text from the wrong place when revising
That's what I do
No worries, it all works out in the end
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+spiritomb/
POKENAME resembles a flower bud in a planter. When it releases spores, it steals the life of plants within its range.
We would also like to request that you refrain from pinging Spriters for the entries you write for their Sprites until the Entries are approved by us.
If you give a Spriter an Entry that we have yet to review and they submit it under their name as you request, then that will be breaking the review process and we will be unable to track the entry that you wrote because it will be under their username and they won't have the answers to any potential questions when we need to review them.
I’ve got to cook breakfast, take the wheel Wildheart
I got like an hour at best, but I'll try
The only real issue I can think of is to say "in a planter" instead of "in a flowerpot" just to avoid repeating "flower", but otherwise it looks pretty solid.
If we discover anyone is submitting an entry under someone else's name ever I will be banning them from entering future entries
If we can't trust someone to write their own name on a form we cannot trust them to write entries
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+mawile/
Although the back of POKENAME's head is actually a big mouth disguised as a flower bud, the liquid that flows out is real nectar. Because the bud-shaped mouth cannot open very wide, POKENAME tends to capture smaller prey.
I've got a breakfast burrito
I edited it. Just now the translator regarded the back of the head as the head.
It's still fine, see emoji
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/2.302a/
The mouths on the vines can only chew and digest, and only the largest mouth can absorb nutrients for POKENAME. Although the main body crawls slowly, the vines can detach, move quickly, and remain active for several weeks.
Hello Dex Writers!
The mouths on its vines chew and digest food before giving it to the main mouth to absorb nutrients. Although the main body crawls slowly, the vines can detach, move quickly, and remain active for several weeks.
Howdy PirateKat!
Wait, that actually happened?!
This is why we can't have nice things...
yes
one of the times was with my name lol
I was like "uh I didnt write that"
oceanbirbs def still need some attention
Oh shoot. Damn, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
...reasonable enough
I wanna hear about flight patterns, boardwalk thefts, ugly nests, flocking and beak uses
I can get on them tonight if there are any left, I'll just be a bit busy until later
You don't get that in controlled environments, you get it in natural environments
And that, I'd be more than happy to provide
I can do that!
Sablgull (421.516)
POKENAME are notorious thieves who steal unguarded accessories. POKENAME use these necklaces, bracelets, and rings to build their nests. When their chicks hatch, the chicks will eat the jewels off the jewelry while waiting for their parents.
Beautigull (508.516)
POKENAME are found living in flowering trees near the beach where they can collect pollen from the tropical flowers. Tourists enjoy taking pictures of these beautiful Pokémon, but they will become aggressive and attack anyone who comes too close.
Remember to not mix it/its/is and they/them/are when referring to a species of Pokémon
but they will become aggressive is the easiest fix I think
There was one more plurl error that I fixed
Cargull (478.516)
Living deep within coastal caves, POKENAME make their nests out of the moss that grows on the cavern walls. Flocks of these Pokémon gather for grooming, using their soft feathers to clean the jewel-like beaks, tails, and wings on one another.
Corpgull (548.516)
The claws that make up POKENAME's wings are strong, but hollow, allowing it to fly for short distances. This Pokémon is mainly found on the beach, scavenging for food from tourists, snapping its claws at people who refuse to share.
Dhelgull (453.516)
POKENAME forms its nest on a buoy floating out at sea. When Wailord and Wailmur swim to the surface, POKENAME will sit atop one of the pod members and feast on the vitality of that Pokémon through its seaweed-like feathers.
(Image is not updated on FusionDex)
Grogull (317.516)
POKENAME makes its nest in the shrubs near beachside cafés where its natural camouflage makes it difficult to spot. When tables with food are left unattended, POKENAME will hop out and steal the leftovers from the meal.
(Image is not updated on FusionDex)
Kligull (397.516a)
Every flap of POKENAME's wings causes the gears on its body to turn and click. This Pokémon steals the nuts, bolts, and screws out of unattended furniture to consume for sustenance.
Kligull (397.516)
POKENAME's body hovers more than it flies, opting to use its wings when it needs to gain altitude. It tends to avoid the water and makes its nests on top of small buildings using shiny paper and metal scraps it scavenges.
Pelimagius / 517.255
Often found floating next to anchored ships, POKENAME are notorious for their combination of faithful reliance as sailor companions, and for explosive outbursts of disdain whenever anything doesn't go their way. It is deemed bad luck to anger a POKENAME intentionally.
beachside is one word, otherwise fine
Peliunny / 517.354
Using their wing-like ears as spoilers while skating across water, POKENAME have been recorded crossing seas at 65 miles per hour. They are praised by sailors across Hoenn thanks to this, and serves as the symbol for Hoenn's Mail Service.
Sandygull (459.516)
Hiding in the beach sand, POKENAME waits patiently for a person to approach with food. When close, POKENAME will squawk and flap its sandy wings, startling its target and causing it to drop what its holding and flee; children are its main target.
Is tracked the best verb here? Maybe recorded instead?
This one may have gotten lost. How is it?
Yeah should be fine now
I replied here @severe scroll
mb, didn't see that
You’re fine
Actually on second inspection is Sea Mail Service a thing? We might need to make it generic, like Hoenn’s postal services
We aren’t allowed to make new organizations I believe let me check
Yeah we have to use a generic stand-in
Winkull / 516.311
"Woe to Me, Woe to You, Woe to We, Woe to All. The Black Beak. That Gold Eye. POKENAME will never let go." - A sea shanty describing the merciless nature of POKENAME, whenever someone enters its' view.
That's a cool way to write an entry.
You cannot have sea shanty lyrics in the entry itself
Unfortunate.
But not exactly fitting of Dex Tone. It would be more fitting in a myth or fantasy setting than an actual encyclopedia.
Fair enough
I remember someone once had really cool descriptions of mythology because they wanted to make their own fantasy world, but while I fully encouraged them to pursue their own writing in ways they enjoyed, I also had to remind them that entries have a specific format/tone for a scientific encyclopedia. Obviously you can still convey a unique voice and utilize different subjects or themes, but there are limits.
Zigull (504.516)
Due to the shape of their wings, POKENAME fly in zig-zag patterns. Curious creatures, they will approach people in hopes of getting something from them, be it food or something they can use for their nest.
Yep! I read through the lorebook and saw the things to avoid. It actually helped a lot with the understanding of what is expected out of dex entries.
Much appreciated!
You’ve earned a Spheal of approval
Yay!

I have now submitted 10 Wingull fusion entries, @hexed fog
There are 14 left on the list.
I'm going to take a break.
Also! Thank you for including what 'what has happened prior to the game' and 'what happens while the player is playing' in the book. Reminding people that the Dex entries are supposed to be written prior to the game's official beginning is huge.
I'm also curious to see what happens in the Hoenn game because I read that PIFH takes place 3-years before the mainline games.
It would be cool to meet the main protagonist of the games as a child/before they start their journey!
I think Hoenn is set to happen at the same time as PIF:1, it should say in the FAQ in #pif-hoenn-discussion
I didn't see it in the FAQ, but that's fine. Thank you for the input!
Oh no, maybe I misremembered
At first glance it was thought that POKENAME produced large amounts of warm water from its tongue-covered body, until further research revealed it was actually expelling large amounts of excess saliva.
Enjoy the image.
Oh that's fuckin gross
Imagine being the researcher that first found it being like "oh, refreshing water, thanks Lickicoal!
Then discovering the truth.
burh I just ate

i feel like it's an unspoken rule in the pokemon world that you don't drink the water shot out from squirtle's Water Gun or whatever 😂 clean enough for a nice shower. not potable
looks like you can actually teach this fusion Rain Dance in game
terrible. love it
I wanna know who made a Lickilicky/Torkoal fusion and decided to make it a giant salivary gland
I could see it happening
Who knows why we are working on these

The bud of POKENAME exudes pigment-filled liquid, completely changing the color of the soil shell. The pigment secreted by POKENAME is a fairly well-known agricultural product.
@proud cosmos please continue to post entries here for review before submitting 🙂
okaaay
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/2.317b/
POKENAME's shell is covered with grass, which uses the sunlight that passes through POKENAME's leaves to survive. These grasses provide perfect camouflage, both in color and in smell.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+torterra/
Although the buds on the tree on POKENAME's back look like peaches, they are not suitable for consumption. These buds, which never bloom, lock in a charming fragrance and are often picked to be used as fragrance.
The bud on POKENAME’s back oozes a pigment that changes the color of its shell. This pigment is also a widely-used agricultural product.
Both Pokémon in this fusion are quite slow, I’m a little confused where you are getting fast from
Although the buds on the tree on POKENAME's back look like peaches, they are not suitable for consumption. These buds, which never bloom, lock in a charming scent and are often picked to be used as fragrance.
Faster than close relatives. My idea is that the movement of many large organisms is limited by oxygen, so if the plants on its back directly supply oxygen to it, it can enhance its movement, at least faster than other members of the same species.
That concept doesn’t make sense, like if I give a marathon runner an oxygen tank it would not make them faster
I originally wanted to refute it based on the difference in cardiopulmonary function, but then I suddenly realized that turtles can hold their breath for a long time. Well, you are right.
But I wanted to keep the grassy part on the back, which explains why the dirt shell is green. I would replace the second sentence.
Maybe repost the entry with a different second sentence yeah
Check out this version
POKENAME's shell is covered with grass, which uses the sunlight that passes through POKENAME's leaves to survive. The grass provides perfect camouflage, both in color and in smell.
oi como baixa o jogo eu nao to consigindo
<@&306953740651462656> Does anyone speak Spanish? I have someone who looks a little lost
Portuguese
Sorry
In fact, I really wanted to answer him, but I came here just for the entry in the first place and didn’t know how to download it
I don’t encounter Portuguese everyday so I wasn’t sure
Same, i keep thinking it's spanish when it's portugese, I feel bad for every time I mix it up
Yknow I'd have figured one of you guys here is at least Brazilian lol
Wingull (516.516)
POKENAME's flight pattern and movement speed is similar to a Yanma. Using this agility, POKENAME swoop down and steal food from unsuspecting people and Pokémon before returning to its nest with its stolen goods.
"POKENAMEN"
Thank you
What is the connection between this Pokemon and a Yanma? I’m confused
The flight pattern and speed. I'm mainly referring to how the wings flap. Plus, the two Pokemon's speeds are very similar
I would simply say its wings flap quickly, as it currently relies on knowing that Yanma flaps its wings fast
I could also say 'dragonfly' but I wasn't sure.
What’s wrong with saying that it rapidly flaps its wings?
Nothing, but I was wondering if that way would work as well?
Dragonflies don’t exist in PIF
That's what I figured.
Yeah
Wingull (516.516)
POKENAME flap its wings in alternating patterns creating rapid motions that increase its speed. Using this agility, POKENAME swoop down and steal food from unsuspecting people and Pokémon before returning to its nest with its stolen goods.
POKENAME rapidly flaps its wings in an alternating pattern to increase its speed.
Otherwise looks fine
Whismgull (520.516)
POKENAME lives in the tall grass near the shore. The sounds of the ocean waves help calm the nerves of this extremely timid and easily frightened Pokémon. It hops around to move, flapping its wing-like ears to gain extra distance.
This Pokémon is a pretty agile swimmer but isn't very fast outside of the water. To help itself with hunting on land, POKENAME crafts spears out of the rocky scales it occasionally sheds.
465.159 Lycanroc-Midnight/Croconaw
Mergemay Day 9 - Obsidian
Bales of POKENAME are commonly found floating above the rainforests. When wind travels through their turbines, these Pokémon collect and absorb moisture from the air to power up their Water-type attacks.
9.189 Blastoise/Jumpluff
Mergemay Day 10 - Technology
bales is how the groups of sea turtles are called. Blastoise appears to be a tortoise, but since it's a water-type mon, I thought mixing them up a bit won't do much harm
The fruits this Pokémon grows inside its crown are sweet and nutritious, but are also covered in hundreds of tiny needles. In POKENAME's natural habitat, only Numel and Camerupt are adapted to eating these fruits without hurting themselves.
457.492 Cacnea/Slurpuff
Mergemay Day 11 - Desert
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+groudon/
POKENAME's body has a complex array of plant species. When it releases its power, plants grow uncontrollably over a wide area, causing a green disaster.
The 17MAY2026 Dex Update has been sent. Please allow it some time to activate. You don't need to manually update it will happen automatically as you open the game.
I don't often look at the submissions spreadsheet, but did so today, and it's a little funny seeing the chunk of time where it was just me submitting entries
for, like, 7ish hours
(not that I was solidly submitting entries in that time, just funny that nobody else was)
If a POKENAME’s flame ever goes out, it will slowly start to die. Even from birth, the flame provides POKENAME with the nutrients needed for it to survive.
This is pretty much just a charmander entry
I realize that now
I wanted to inplement the bulb as well but im not sure how to do that
If a POKENAME’s flame ever goes out, it will slowly start to die. Though the flame burns its entire life, its bulb never burns up.
Good?
How about...
The bulb on POKENAME's back contains the fuel it needs to keep the fire going. This Pokémon produces this fuel through photosynthesis. If POKENAME's flame goes out, it will need to rest in the sun and sleep or risk perishing.
Look at that nice round number!
Bugull (400.516)
During the spring, POKENAME's body feathers will begin to produce a layer of pollen that it spreads when it flies. During the winter, POKENAME will remain in its nest, wings tight against its body, and endure the cold weather.
Lomgull (496.516)
POKENAME dives into the water to pluck sea grass that it uses to build its shoreline nest. The lily pad on its head helps provide cover from potential predators. If something gets too close, POKENAME flaps its wings and squawks loudly to scare it.
https://infinitefusion.net/customsprites/CustomBattlers/496.516.png
Lugull (389.516)
When POKENAME fly in flocks, electricity can be seen transmitting between their tails. When resting for the night, rhythmic electrical pulses can faintly be heard within the flock as they sleep, wordlessly communicating their feelings.
Field researcher PirateKat reporting from the beaches of Lilycove City! Many Wingull seem to have gotten their beaks on discarded Splicers. Will report more on the behaviors of these fused Pokémon as they are seen.
So I had a bit of an experiment. I wrote a dex entry withiut any particular mon to reference and quite like how it came out. However... i now need a mon for it. (It also might be a tiny bit too long im not sure)
The gem in the center of POKENAME's face perpetually reflects the night sky, even in the harshest of weather. In areas where wet seasons dominate much of the year, astronomers will often use this pokemon to study and map the stars.
Anybody got ideas? Im thinking its gotta be a staryu or starmie head of some kind but not sure on the body at all.
I might have some suggestions
Clefcie #35.500
Dianfairy #500.35
Clefeon #35.196b
Clefsian #36.53
@pastel depot Any of these work?
god, that's a gorgeous sprite
Clefcie also has one without the moon
I'd recommend the Dianfairy (500.35)
Clefyu #35.120c
Starfairy #120.35
My only issue is the several mentions of harsh weather and rain with it. I like the clefairy and diancie, just not with the weather parts
The Clefairy line may be your best bet. I gave a bunch of options that could work. Up to you though.
We are down to 5 Wingull fusions left on the list
Shroomgull (404.516)
POKENAME build their nests in tall grass near the beachfront. When startled, they expel a Stun Spore cloud from their heads, then fly away while their opponent is paralyzed.
Surgull (518.516)
POKENAME skate across the surface of river waters near the ocean using the tips of their wings. They dive their beaks into the water to catch small prey or gather sea grass for their nests on that river bank.
Venigull (422.516)
POKENAME can sense the movements of potential prey in the air around it using its head feelers. Using the height advantage from its tree-top nest, POKENAME will dive bomb its prey and bite down on their body, injecting it with a paralyzing poison.
Ningull (382.516)
A nocturnal creature, POKENAME will flutter near palm trees and use the antenna on its snout to find openings in the soft bark. POKENAME will absorb the nutrients from the tree for sustenance before returning to its ground nest at dawn.
Tailgull (514.516)
POKENAME migrate to warm beaches during the winter time to avoid the colder climates. These gutsy Pokémon will fight larger sea birds, as well as steal food from tourists' hands, all without fear.
Tailgull (514.516a)
These Pokémon are determined fighters, fending off foes of all sizes from their nests. When hungry, POKENAME will locate outdoor cafés and hop near tables, cheeping up at tourists in hopes of them sharing or dropping their food.
@midnight siren, or any other Unown, do you mind looking these 6 entries over and letting me know if they're good to post?
just the last 6 you posted?
Yes please
heard chef
These are the last Pokémon on the Oceanbirb list
I just got back from doing yardwork and was about ready to help with the list

ok so “edges of the beach” kinda makes it sound like they all live by one specific beach (specifically because “edges” is plies and “beach” is not). I have a couple of options depending on which you prefer:
- “edge of beaches” -> just flipping the pluralisation fixes this issue, as they are nesting in various beaches by that beaches specific edge
- “near the beachfront” -> this is more of a flavour change, but this would also work, as a beachfront is the edge of a beach
there are other options (most notably “edges of beaches”) but these are my recs for which to go with
I like the 'beachfront' option
Aesthetic change:
you could change “cloud of paralysing poison” to “Stun Spore”, thus allowing you to change “stunned” to “paralysed”. This is an entirely optional suggestion, there is nothing technical that this fixes, I just think it’d be nice to be able to say they fly from a paralysed foe without reusing paralysed
ok so pet peeve moment: remove the word “can” from your second paragraph. if the fusion uses its beak for hunting and nest building, you don’t need to launder your point by adding “can”. “Might” and “may” also fall under this category often
“River bank” is a compound word, so shouldn’t have a space between words. Also I’m not sure if “Brackish” would count under FAQ6 (technical language), but either way I would suggest changing it to “rivers” for clarity sake
Brackish is a mix of fresh and salt water, which is calmer waters. I wanted to specify that because ocean water near the beach isn't calm enough for a Surskit to skate on.
I say rivers as, to my understanding, “brackish waters” are slightly salty waters that feed into the ocean, so saying “rivers near the ocean” or “river water near the ocean” would still give this info in a clearer way
I’m sorry I haven’t been active today, feeling a little blue
Yall be nice to each other now
ok quick couple of things:
- “movement” -> “movements”. this is a minor tweak, but it flows better with the same meaning
- “tree” -> “tree-top”. saying “its tree nest” implies that the nest is within the bark of the tree. tree-top nest, however, implies that the nest is at the height of the tree
I’m also thinking that “it’s body” and “injects it” might be a bit uhh not vague? just not 100% clear. I can’t think about how to fix it, although I think changing it to “their body” and “injects them” should do it, as the specific creature being attacked has been established so the singular “they” is applicable here
No
Character limit is also rough.
No cookie points for you
I will just steal them
ok so you have 1 plurality/singularity inconsistency here:
Nocturnal creatures, POKENAME -> this implies that POKENAME are plural, as it refers to them as creatures. the rest of the entry is 100% singular, so this could be changed to A nocturnal creature, POKENAME to fix this
I have two cookie points! 🍪
damn thats crazy
it looks alright by me
i would remove the word up, but thats not a specific issue just a preference, i just think it flows better

Which member of the clefairy line is clefyu? I kinda like the idea of that
Found it
Its Clefairy
I like that ill post it under that soon
Assuming it doesnt have a dex
Actually
Am I allowed to say "areas where wet seasons dominate much of the year?"
Or does that break a rule of some kind?
Hey @midnight siren congrats on being the most recent unown speaker in this chat. Whats your opinion?
Dex entry for reference:
The gem in the center of POKENAME's face perpetually reflects the night sky, even in the harshest of weather. In areas where wet seasons dominate much of the year, astronomers will often use this pokemon to study and map the stars.
I know its probably a bit long ill fix that in a bit, I wanna make sure theres no canonness problems and stuff of that like first
i don't see a specific problem personally
no entrys from me today
im sick af xd
I guess my worry is with canonness/in PIF Universe, since as of now theres not really an area with wet seasons most of the year. (Not that normal pokemon has one either, given wet seasons are typically associated with africa)
Actually
Now that I think of it, do any of the continents on the southern hemisphere have a region?

I did a bunch of the last list, so I'm going to take a small break and go back to my Torchic line work.

Curious
Torchpie (279.10a)
POKENAME is a common target for bird Pokémon due to its bright color palette. When attacked, POKENAME will spit fireballs at the predator using its internal fire, then flee.
Compod (280.11)
While unable to move much due to its fragile state, POKENAME will harden and heat itself to endure hardships. This Pokémon will hold a grudge and seek out any attackers on evolution.
Comfree (280.12)
When POKENAME flies, it scatters ember-like scale from its wings. This Pokémon will seek out weaker Pokémon being attacked and aid them. It will also pick up fallen cocoon Pokémon and place them back on a branch in the tree above them.
Weechic (13.279)
When using the horn on its head or tail to strike a foe, POKENAME injects the opponent with a poison that burns the target. The injection site becomes inflamed and swollen if it is not treated immediately.
Kakchic (14.279)
The shell surrounding POKENAME is tough, but is flexible enough to allow this Pokémon movement; however, it opts to stay in a safe area while awaiting evolution. If it senses danger, POKENAME will harden and heat its shell to ward off predators.
Kakchic (14.279a)
POKENAME can be found in clusters within a nest as they await evolution. If they sense danger, heat will begin to radiate off their shells to ward off potential attackers. The parents patrol the area to ensure the safety of their young.
Torchuna (279.14)
The feathers on POKENAME's head are covered in a sticky substance that helps it cling to tree branches as it awaits evolution. When attacked, POKENAME spits fireballs at the attacker. If touched, the poison on its shell will harm the foe.
That's the rest of the Caterpie line done, as well as the Weedle line, with the Torchic line fusions.
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/2.352a/
The leaves on both arms of POKENAME have a unique fragrance, while the flower buds on its head are actually odorless. Relying on the highly toxic trichomes on its leaves, POKENAME can effectively hunt medium-sized prey such as Rattata.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+rotom/
POKENAME's plasma simulates the shape of a flower bud, teaching it how to stabilize electric charges. POKENAME is often trained to use plasma vines to temporarily maintain power supply during circuit failures.
I think I've gone through everything in the past couple of hours, I'll be around just give me a ping if you need me, I'll be watching a movie so I won't be able to tell unless you do
If I write something, I will accumulate 3 and wait for you to come back
https://www.fusiondex.org/bulbasaur+galvantula/
Because POKENAME has fewer legs than an average spider, its hunting relies on electrified webs. Its webs are mixed with sunlight-powered components, allowing them to remain charged for a long time without its maintenance.
POKENAME relies on its electrified webs for hunting, as its legs are fragile. Its webs are mixed with photoreceptors, allowing them to remain charged with electricity for long periods of time without maintenance.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+golurk/
POKENAME will proactively settle in the ruins of the jungle. The growing plants fill the damage POOKENAME’s body has suffered over a long period of time, while allowing the plants to use and replenish core energy.
POKENAME actively hunt for empty jungle ruins to settle in. The plants sprawling across their body fill in cracks and wounds that may have accumulated over the years. These plants rely on the core's energy to continue growing.
since im doing the kyogre mergemay concept arts i might try my hand at the groudon mergemay prompts for dex entries
Pidchic (16.279)
POKENAME flock near small towns, taking shelter in the trees nearby. Their inner fires make their feathers warm to the touch. Many children befriend POKENAME by offering them berries and seeds, and these Pokémon will follow them afterwards.
Pidchic (16.279a)
Spending most of their days in the safety of the nest, POKENAME cry out to their parents when they get hungry. If this Pokémon goes too long without eating, it will spit fireballs in a temper tantrum.
Pidbusken (16.280)
POKENAME fight dirty, both literally and figuratively. In combat, this Pokémon will use its feathery arms to whip up sand and dirt to blind their opponents. While the foe is disoriented, POKENAME rush forward and deal harsh blows with their kicks.
@rich goblet
Why did you change your name?
Inside joke, don't worry about it
Pidgechic (17.279)
When this Pokémon creates a nest, it considers any area it can see from its home its territory. POKENAME will use its talons, beak, and fire attacks to fend off opponents to encroach on its land.
https://www.fusiondex.org/rapidash+flareon/ Day 1 - Burn
POKENAME's fur burns brightest when it is frolicking through large fields or chasing other Pokémon playfully. Without proper area to roam, its fire will dim and falter.
i feel like this could be better but i cant figure out how
Pidgebusken (17.280)
POKENAME flies around the land it considers its territory seeking out prey. Once this Pokémon spots a target, it will dive from the sky before outstretching its taloned claws and dropkicking the foe. With its fresh catch, it returns to its nest.
I think it is fine as is, maybe you can mention split the first sentence in two so that you can establish how it needs lots of space
With the powerful psychic waves emanating from POKENAME's tail, it can make two living beings fall madly in love with one another. Because of this, people have worshipped this Pokémon as a deity of love in ancient times.

Because a pronoun REFERS to a noun or TAKES THE PLACE OF that noun, you have to use the correct pronoun so that your reader clearly understands which noun your pronoun is referring to.

Lol
POKENAME is a really friendly Pokémon. It radiates a icy aura that can cool off any creature it comes in contact with. POKENAME uses that ability to help other ice Pokémon lower their temperature.
Beware of POKENAME when diving too deep in aquatic cave systems. It's really territorial and will furiously attack anything that dares come near its lair.
POKENAME is capable of swimming comfortably through boiling waters near undersea vents. In ancient times, its sudden appearance in shallow bays was feared as an augury that a new volcano was about to erupt from the ocean floor.
I wanted to do an oarfish inspired tale for this one, but maybe it's not as connected as I wanted to? Maybe say they are capable of creating the volcanos themselves? It's the closest I can think of to bring the sun inspiration from volcarona? Maybe instead of volcanos say it radiates as strong as a sun and makes the surrounding water boil?
I like this. Volcarona's entry should indeed be so powerful, at least the original entry is full of its legend.

POKENAME's body is covered with various plants. Although its body can support the growth of other plants, it is still toxic to non-plant organisms.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+sandygast/
POKENAME prefers light more than most Ghost-type Pokémon. To protect cactus buds, POKENAME no longer actively hunts and instead strives to survive by relying on sunlight.
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+palossand/
POKENAME uses a small amount of nutrients to create an active lure that looks like a Bulbasaur without a bud. POKENAME's bud is 4 meters high, and when it hunts, moving sand covers the surrounding dozens of meters.
412.562 Joltik/ Clamperl
POKENAME commonly live inside of caves with an abundance of Electric-Type Pokémon. They wait inside their shell for one of them to approach before snapping their shell closed and feeding on their static electricity.
245.51 Suicune/ Dugtrio
POKENAME are only ever seen in pure clean water, yet the same POKENAME can appear in multiple places. This has lead to a theory that there are a vast number of underwater tunnels that POKENAME use to move between bodies of wates.
57.64 Primeape/ Kadabra
POKENAME's psychic powers originate from and are empowered by its anger. It is said that if a POKENAME ever becomes calm, it will lose all of its psychic abilities.
5.405 Charmeleon/ Shuppet
This Pokémon loves feeding on the feelings of battle such as anger and passion. The flames that surround it burn brighter the more it has consumed.
191.508 Sunkern/ Beautifly
POKENAME spend nearly their entire lives on a single flower, only ever leaving this plant if they are attacked. Their low energy levels allow them to live subsisting only on the nectar of the flower.
360.394 Whimsicott/ Feebas
POKENAME leave their pond homes and float away on windy days. If a person ever comments on a POKENAME's appearance while its flying by, it will float through their house and scatter cotton before moving on.
436.446 Carvanha/ Goodra
In the right mindset, POKENAME can be scourges on ships on the water. However, they often lack enough motivation to actually attack the ships and are more commonly kept as rowdy pets than seen as actual dangers.
POKENAME is a friendly Pokémon. It radiates an icy aura that can cool off any Pokémon it comes in contact with. POKENAME use this ability to help other Ice-type Pokémon lower their temperature.
Divers should beware when diving deep in aquatic cave systems, as POKENAME is likely nearby. It is territorial and will furiously attack anything that comes near its lair.
POKENAME is capable of swimming comfortably through boiling water near underwater geothermal vents. In ancient times, its sudden appearance in shallow bays was feared as an augury that a new volcano was about to erupt from the ocean floor.
What are non-plant organisms in this case? Other Pokémon?
I don't understand the first sentence, is the cactus not part of its body?
I don't understand what you mean by moving sand, can you clarify?
Raichu/ Vigoroth 26.386
POKENAME's fur is constantly brimming with electrical energy, powering their incredibly active and aggressive lifestyle. When POKENAME run, you can see a trail of lightning flow behind them.
@eternal notch Due to the recent influx of new authors, I would like to ask you to limit yourself to roughly 3-4 entries per check. This is not an official rule, but rather a request since there's so many people writing entries now.
sorry
No worries, you didn't do anything wrong.
POKENAME commonly live inside caves with an abundance of Electric-Type Pokémon. They wait inside their shell for one of them to approach before snapping their shell closed and feeding on their static electricity.
I removed the "of" since it is unnecessary in this context.
POKENAME are only ever seen in pure clean water, yet the same POKENAME can appear in multiple places. This has led to a belief that there are a vast number of underwater tunnels that POKENAME use to move between bodies of water.
I changed theory to belief because this fusion does not actually use underwater tunnels to move between bodies of water
This is fine as is.
This Pokémon loves feeding on the feelings of battle, such as anger and passion. The flames that surround it burn brighter the more emotions it has consumed.
POKENAME spend nearly their entire lives on a single flower, only ever leaving this plant if they are attacked. Their slow metabolism allows them to live subsisting only on the nectar of the flower.
I changed energy to metabolism since it relates to food
This entry is confusing because it implies that all members of the fusion fly through houses to scatter cotton?
comma after however
This is fine
On second glance, I'm not sure how the Pokémon being friendly relates to its other abilities...
After looking at this again, I would make the following change:
POKENAME live in aquatic cave systems and are incredibly territorial. Divers should beware when exploring these cave systems as they are known to attack anyone in their lair.
We want to establish that the Pokémon lives in the cave system before we introduce the divers.
Hope this makes sense!
Its based on whimsicotts which does say that they spread cotton through peoples houses as pranks
but fair
Ah, right, one moment then
Maybe saying social is better? In my mind it was more of a "Oh, I have this power and I love others bc I wanna be friends"
POKENAME leave their ponds and float away on windy days. If a person ever comments on a POKENAME's appearance while it is flying by, it is that it will float through their house and scatter balls of cotton to create a nest before flying away.
I'll change in their lair to near your lair too because (for me) it sounds more dangerous that way
POKENAME is a social Pokémon that enjoys helping others. It radiates an icy aura that can cool off any Pokémon it comes in contact with. POKENAME harnesses this ability to help other Ice-type Pokémon lower their temperature.
This should be better, but may be changed by Wildheart when they do their check, same with the other two entries
Yeah I think they should be fine? Let me check
yea yea
I wanted to add some words
POKENAME is an extremely social Pokémon that enjoys helping others. It radiates an icy aura that can cool off any Pokémon it comes in contact with. POKENAME harnesses this ability to help other Ice-type Pokémon lower their temperature when in need.
248
😌
Sometimes simplicity is better. I would get rid of "extremely" and "when in need" because those accentuate parts of the entry that don't need to be
Hmm I'm a bit of an over the top person so I believe you, I'll change it back XD
Thanks! ^^
(But genuinely, thanks for the help
)
I certainly try, thanks for the help you provide too
My chart's lookin a lot more green :)

POKENAME has a body that is covered with various plants. Its body can support the growth of these plants by allowing them to feed off its sludge, but then they become toxic to Trainers and Pokémon.
Feeling like this? Although the gif is actually gold, let’s treat it as sand for the moment. Forgive me for sending the gif. I tried to revise the words repeatedly, but the translator gave me nothing but moving sand.
Oh I get it now
POKENAME expends a small amount of nutrients to produce a small decoy that looks like a Bulbasaur. Its bud can reach four meters high and envelops foes in a sandy tomb when it hunts.
Not the most intuitive concept but it works
How is it now?
One sec
POKENAME prefers to live in bright deserts surrounded by the sun, absorbing the glowing rays. To protect the cactus on its head, it abstains from hunting to minimize its risk of injury.
We need more info on sleeping pokemon
POKENAME are commonly found in hot areas, their favorite habitat being dried-up reservoirs. Scientists speculate that these Pokémon used to live underwater in the past but were forced to adapt as the climate changed and their homes dried out.

I was wondering something. I assume not, since it's not reflected in gameplay, but, just in case: can items that contain DNA (such as fossils or Old Amber) fuse with alive Pokémon?
@regal cedar I think this section applies? If not I would ping the dex managers
This was found in the lorebook
Yes, that explains it.

I also realized that you wanted to make a reference to other media. We are not allowed to do that in PIF, just so you know.
It wasn’t a lore-breaking reference. The phrase also made sense in the context of the entry. I’ve written numerous entries with references, typically for sprites that also use references.
Make the report in #custom-dex-errors and I’ll leave it to the Dex Managers to figure it out. Be sure to follow the guidelines on how to fill it out in the pinned posts.
Holy schnozz Omega Mart reference
This girl knows ball (that makes me feel old)
I'm still new enough that I don't know the line for these sort of references, so I will have to wait until a dex manager helps
It doesn't directly reference things surely it's fine
Or can people not use certain phrases if the mods know it as a reference to something even thoughh it's never explicitly said
You know what, good point. I'll bear the brunt if it means otherwise but you provide a valid point
How's this for a sentence?
POKENAME spreads toxic spores in the water it resides in.

Please make a report in #custom-dex-errors with the template in the pinned comments
This feels like it's not quite right, can someone help me refine it?
POKENAME can destroy a five-story building with a single shout. This ability was thought to be metaphorical hyperbole until seen in action.
I made heavy modification to the second sentence in hopes to spark some new words that you might use. Feel free to use as much or as little as needed (provided the entry is still grammatically correct)
I feel like that loses part of the spirit of the second sentence, unfortunately
maybe that's neccessary, maybe not, but still
Ah, maybe I'm not getting it then, my bad
no worries
I think "metaphorical representations" is a bit redundant, since metaphors already are symbols and representations, so you can simplify that to metaphors for natural disasters
https://www.fusiondex.org/ivysaur+surskit/
The bud on POKENAME's head can secrete a complex mixture, which contains components that most predators find repulsive. This mixture can be processed to extract various spices and seasonings.
What is the mixture made of? Since we never introduced what it is made of, the introduction of the word is confusing
You can say it is made out of sap and pollen or whatever but just make sure you let the reader know what you mean

POKENAME's exterior feathers are red petals that grow more vivid as POKENAME become stronger. They live in groups in the forest, using their bright colors to intimidate enemies.
@dapper patio You have submitted two entries for the same sprite. Please pick one to keep.
A)
475.300.png POKENAME is predator that makes its home in coral reefs. Though it is slow, its powerful jaws can crush rock, so it seeks out prey that can't run away from it: shelled Pokémon, which those massive jaws have no problem breaking open.
B)
475.300.png POKENAME are opportunistic scavengers that crawl along the seafloor looking for sunken carcasses to eat. If they come across any Pokémon smaller than them, it will lash out with surprising speed and pierce their prey upon their claw-tipped tentacles.
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/3.25a/
The grass-type part of POKENAME has high self-discipline. When POKENAME needs to control this part, it must fasten the green cap on its head to connect the nerves, during which time the other parts will react sluggishly.
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/3.26b/
POKENAME's tail can attract lightning due to its height. It can survive just by occasionally receiving lightning, yet it still actively collects berries.
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/3.28a/
POKENAME's posture is fully adapted to desert life. The flowers on its back mimic various cacti and only bloom after rain, allowing it to perfectly blend into the desert environment.
How does this look?
This entry is confusing, like why do we need to split between the Grass type part when it is one Pokémon? Fusions are only a single Pokémon, so referring to one part or another can be confusing to the reader.
POKENAME’s body is fully adapted to desert life. The flowers on its back mimic various cacti and only bloom after rain, allowing it to perfectly blend into the desert environment.
This has several issues that I will numerate below:
-
Red light frequencies do not make the Pokémon invisible, it just darkens their appearance so much that they appear black.
-
While this rule has not been strictly enforced, it is suggested that you use "courtship" instead of mating.
-
"dances" put in quotation marks is a euphemism and does not fit the tone of the Pokédex, dances without the quoation marks is fine and should be used.
A is better to me tbh
POKENAME are often seen hanging from the ceiling of caves, forming large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, making only their blueish ears faintly glow in the darkness.
It is not your choice
The author has to choose.
Does 2 apply for "mating season" specifically? AIUI "courtship season" isn't a phrase
"Hanging together from the ceiling of caves" if you want that to be what indicates them gathering, but swarms often indicate motion or collection, so I might recommend changing either the end of the sentence or what they're seen doing to form the swarm.
I want you to reread that second sentence for me and see if you can tell me what's wrong with it.
that perfectly hiding doesnt go well with faintly glow being seen? xd
Among other things
from the grammar or the reasoning
Both
heh
I had to google this to make sure, you're right, courtship season as a phrase doesn't really exist. Go ahead and ignore point number two for now, I'll be asking the rest of the team for insight.
EDIT: "as a phrase"
blusih ?
How do you spell the plural of body?
bodies
Mhm
Also this isn't a possessive in this case, which made it even more confusing
wdym
You said "Their body's".
Apostrophes are used for either contractions like making "It is" into "It's" or for possessives, meaning that something belongs to or relates to someone. "Ash's Pikachu"
Well now you need to generally restructure the second sentence and listen to my suggested revision of the first sentence.
i changed it into forming a group instead of swarm
Ok question.
When you say "Hanging, forming", do you mean they're seen flocking to that spot and then hanging together, or do you mean that they're already hanging there in a group?
the just sit there when they are not flying
Also I said to add the word "together" to communicate that they would be spotted in a group, not that the act of hanging from the ceiling makes one form a group
hang there
Then maybe say "arranged in a group"?
Because "forming" describes an active process.
why do i need to specify them being together or arranged, a group is multiple bodies of whatever being together no ?
they fly
then eventually tuck to the ceiling, and when multiple do that they form a group naturally
like well bats
Yes, but you are saying they are seen once the group has already been formed, so that's why I'm saying either establish that the group is formed while it's being seen by saying that they're "seen hanging together" or describe that the group was already there with past tense like "arranged" or "gathered" instead of the active tense "forming."
its both somewhat
they can form such a group on the ceiling but its more of a lifestyle fact not a must have in that moemnt
since when do we need to write the dex entries as if we were in the middle of the action right now ?
especially with pokemon who could just do who knows what
if they form a group now or in 5 mins should irrelevant no ?
i also wrote stuff like "has seen to do this and that"
🤦 It's how grammar works
alr
so u want me to add together yea
"Can be seen" > conditional timing.
"hanging from a ceiling" > what they are being seen doing
"arranged in large groups" > secondary description that establishes how they are hanging.
"forming large groups" is wrong because it describes a secondary action or effect, not a description.
It works if you are describing something chronologically or specifying the effects of something, such as
"I looked through the fridge and realized I had no milk, deciding that it was time that I went to the store."
Vs
"I saw my friend go to the store, going to the movie theater."
See how you're describing two things at once to opposite effects and why I'm trying to connect the actions and descriptions to help communicate your intended visual?
so the are is the issue
and it should be "can often be seen" ?
to make it like not an always thing
hanging from the ceiling and forming groups are happening at the same time.
The Pokémon exist in a state of being complete and becoming complete.
Thank you
or just stupid
Ok, if I said: "This Pokémon is often seen sitting and watching TV, doing its daily round of jumping jacks." Then that wouldn't make sense because I'm describing them doing a passive activity, "sitting", and an active activity, "doing jumping jacks"
How do bats each individually hanging from a ceiling form a group unless they are inherently hanging together?
Or alternatively, how do bats that are already hanging from the ceiling form a group that is already assembled?
it isnt
they may assemble it
like birds who sit ona tree
sometimes one comes and joins
etc
So I have been told that the Unown team is avoid all instances of the term mating moving forward. The term "courtship rituals" is preferred in this instance, please let me know if you have trouble fixing your entry and I will have a look again.
EDIT: The term "seasons of courtship" could also work here
if they find multiple they band together
or not if they are alone
and the group isnt just there
it forms
and disbands
as i said like birds
But you don't put a condition on forming the group, you say that them being seen hanging from the ceiling forms the group!
a condition ?
like resting ?
Yes, but that's why I'm trying to say hanging together or that you replace forming with assembled to communicate the visual instead of the active summary because the summary isn't grammatically correct.
No, like "can be", "often", "occasionally", "once in a blue moon", things that aren't guaranteed or have to meet criteria. Things that realistically could be cut to make an entry clearer, but tend to add flair or specifics when done correctly.
POKENAME are often seen hanging together from the ceiling of caves, forming large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, making only their blueish ears faintly glow in the darkness.
? so just one word would fix the sentence ?
Well now the second sentence. How do their bodies hide them? In the darkness? Describe that with the process of hiding. But why does the act of hiding make their ears glow?
the bodys are black
the hiding doesnt make the ears glow
they just glow naturally
or if someone gets to close maybe if thats not enough for an entry xd
"The hiding doesn't make the ears glow"
"Their black bodies perfectly hide them, making only their blueish ears faintly glow in the darkness."
This is why sentence structure matters, it reads like you are saying that the primary subject/contents of the first sentence: "Their bodies hiding them" "makes" the second part of the sentence happen.
Yes, the bodies are black, how does that hide them? What if they're in a completely white room?
That context needs to be added though, like not everyone who plays the game knows what a bat is.
Admittedly, Pokémon was my first introduction to what a bat is, funny enough
Well not just that, but there are bats that are part scorpion, bats with heart noses, dragon bats, and you could hypothetically encounter the fusion anywhere, not just in caves.
POKENAME are often seen hanging from the ceiling of pitch-black caves, forming large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, making only their blueish ears faintly glow in the darkness.
The word you're looking for instead of "making" is "leaving".
oh yea
And you should change "glow" to "glowing"
glowing ?
Yes, to fit with the active tense of "leaving their ears faintly glowing"
POKENAME are often seen hanging from the ceiling of pitch-black caves, forming large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, leaving only their blueish ears faintly glowing in the darkness.
"Assembled in large groups".
But then also, if you're saying that their bodies hide them completely and the caves are pitch-black, how can they be seen hanging?
why do i have to say assembled and not formed when they form said group
is there another word i dont like assembled
Gathered? Arranged?
gathered yea
Thank you
POKENAME are often hanging from the ceiling of pitch-black caves, gathered in large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, leaving only their blueish ears faintly glowing in the darkness.
no wait
POKENAME are often hanging together from the ceiling of pitch-black caves, gathered in large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, leaving only their blueish ears faintly glowing in the darkness.
I said you needed to add the word "together" to keep it active tense, if you're changing to past tense for "gathered", you don't need it any more.
Also you can shorten "are often hanging" to "often hang"
POKENAME often hang from the ceiling of pitch-black caves, gathered in large groups. Their black bodies perfectly hide them, leaving only their blueish ears faintly glowing in the darkness.
?
or gathering in large groups
it should be gathered no
Correct, it should be gathered.
Agreed lol
Don't make me fail
If you say so
Don't push yourself too hard. These will get done eventually
The entries aren't going anywhere
I alternate between up to around 20 entries in a day and 0 entries for a month outside of my designated event, you're totally fine
It's not about sheer quantity, it's about passion and quality.
I should swap the places of these two sentences
That's not the problem here...
What do you mean by "where the crystals build them up?"
Second Attempt
Seems I messed up on the google form. Entry A is meant for sprite 475.300.png. Entry B is meant for a different sprite, 475.302.png
Cool cool, I'll fix those since I have the sheet open
Thank you for the prompt response
Of course.
The growths on the back of POKENAME are a sort of glowing mushroom. They can produce spores loaded with electricity and send them into the air, immobilizing any threat that breaths them in.
You can just say that POKENAME has glowing mushrooms on their back, you don't have to hedge your bets on calling it a mushroom
Fix that and I'll get to the other grammar stuff when you do that

@fading shale
I'm assigning you a reading: #dex-entries-discussion message
I will be back in like five minutes to keep helping, need a snack so I'm just giving you tools to improve your writing
I'm back, you ready for feedback?
POKENAME grows a pair of glowing mushrooms on its back . They can produce spores loaded with electricity which they can launch into the air, immobilizing any threat that breathes them in.
Very close!
-
How many mushrooms are there?
-
breathes them in (that one's a freebie)
breathing them in is unncessary ?
i thiought i mention it since spores could also have effect when touched
i specifically ment targetted breathing them in
No no, breathes there has an e between h and s
oh
it is
Also there are TWO mushrooms on its back so mushrooms is plural
Post an updated version of your entry here once you're ready for one last check
i edited it
^

Extra space before the period.
-
Change they into it
Let me know when it is done
POKENAME grows a pair of glowing mushrooms on its back. It can produce spores loaded with electricity which it can launch into the air, immobilizing any threat that breathes them in.
man who invented grammar smh

POKENAME love to harvest nectar from flowers, which gets absorbed into the bloodstream. Their whole body is almost fully black but the nectar they collected turns the blood bio luminescent, making their beautiful wing patterns visible
or is that a bit to abstract
POKENAME loves to harvest nectar from flowers, which gets absorbed into its bloodstream. While its body is black, the nectar coursing through its body glows through bioluminescence. This glow creates vivid patterns in its wings.
hell yea
how can i avoid many they or their etc
and when is it better to write with It and Its instead of they
You can write it with they/them but I usually keep those for humanoid Pokémon because it takes more space than it/its
I'm going to assign you some more homework.
@fading shale This post addresses the plurality agreement thing, its a common issue.
#dex-entries-discussion message
I expect a ten page report in 30 minutes, failure will result in a removal of brownie points

Joking aside, do take a glance at the post, its short
while i do that
POKENAME is often spotted on the roof of tall buildings during a thunderstorm. It enjoys the dense air filled with static electricity which it can absorb through its fur to enhance the body's agility.
i was always like
if i say It it implies there is only one of it
If it helps, POKENAME is just a really fancy word that means both they and it depending on the context.
If we replace POKENAME with it, the first sentence would go
It are often spotted on the roof... etc etc
See the problem word yet?
so are should be is
but if they works too
it needs to be are
so it doesnt matter ?
or more like depends on how u continue
Torchsaur (279.3)
POKENAME enjoys its days sunbathing, taking in nutrients it needs to keep the plant on its back healthy. When POKENAME is startled, an eruptions of blazing hot spores are released from the flower's stem in self-defense.
When you use POKENAME you only replace the pronoun with one at a time. So if you choose "it" don't replace the pronoun with "they" for the entry
This part is correct
Immaculate, full send it
Alright, you spot a grammar mistake then
pff
Comeleon (280.5)
These competitive Pokémon are always looking to get into a fight, whether it's to train or just prove they're stronger than another Pokémon. POKENAME are known for their blazing kicks and boastful attitudes in combat.
so hows mine
Send it!
This looks fine
"during thunderstorms", "that it absorbs", "enhance its agility."
POKENAME is a jolly creature even in heavy thunderstorms. It absorbs nutrients through its feet or electricity through the leaves on its head. The nutrients are stored in its tail to consume in times of need.
thats a bit to late i already sent it
Well then someone will fix it on the sheet I guess.

I'll do it

bit scared of new things
Grammatically looks good, I just have a question on the difference between lighting the stingers and lighting everything else. Maybe you could build slightly to say "If the trespassers don't get the hint, the POKENAME will set their wings and legs ablaze out of rage and work even harder." or something like that. Might be too many words, so adjust as needed, just my take.
I do not suggest participating if you do not have a good grasp of English grammar and syntax, it becomes a headache if an Unown has to keep certain arbitrary conditions. Particularly the homophone one.
Thank you for your help though.

You pointing out syntax and homophones in a conversation around video games reminded me of a YouTube video called "Ganon with one N" where he says "Sin, Attacks, and Syntax are my favorite things."
While I do not know the reference, that sounds hilarious
Bladrill (281.15)
POKENAME ignite their stingers while diving towards Pokémon that encroach on their territory, driving them from the area. If the trespasser continues to loiter, these Pokémon will set their legs and wings ablaze to appear more intimidating.

im just ass in grammar atm
i will evolve
No worries, it doesn't stop entries from being approved
I work hard to make entries passable, you should see the back end sometime.
Ducky, I hand this to you, I got DnD
Torchgey (279.16)
POKENAME enjoy sitting in the sun during the day. They snuggle into their nest at night with their inner flame keeping them warm. These Pokémon make excellent pets for retired older folks as they enjoy the constant companionship.
I think you want to split the first sentence since there's two different subjects (sitting in the sun and their inner flame)
The transition between day/night is a bit awk
How's that?
How does being in a thunderstorm affect its mood? I'm confused
Also sorry for not doing them in order, I'm hooman
no its jolly even in bad weather
most animals aren't terribly happy about thunderstorms haha
This should be fine
oh, but you did say "is a jolly creatures" not "is a jolly creature"
POKENAME remains jolly even during heavy thunderstorms. It absorbs nutrients through its feet and electricity through the leaves on its head. The nutrients are stored in its tail, and can be consumed in times of need.

Comotto (280.17a)
The feathers on POKENAME's head help with its aerodynamics, preventing it from losing speed when having to make sudden adjustments in combat. This speed helps POKENAME swoop down and scorch potential prey that are in its territory.
I will be headed to the store to grab some food, yall just keep posting (within reason)
Comotto (280.17)
POKENAME use their talons as their main weapons. Strong and sharp, these Pokémon can carry objects more than half their weight far distances with them. When injured, POKENAME do not give in and will ignite their feathers to show its fighting spirit.
Okay, I have to admit that my wording is a mess, both before and after translation. I didn't really want to deal with the grass attribute alone, I just wanted the hat on its head to be some kind of temporary neural connector (which makes sense for the electric attribute), and I was really messed up about what it connected to. But considering that it is a Bulbasaur hat, it must be related to the plant or grass attribute.
Well, my automatic translator will translate any evolution of Bulbasaur into Bulbasaur. I'm referring to the one numbered 3.
Venusaur
Comgeot (280.18)
This Pokémon possesses not only powerful talons, but also long, razor-sharp claws hidden beneath its wings. Using its incredible speed, POKENAME can slash a small target to ribbons in a single flyby.
Blageot (281.18)
As POKENAME soars through the sky at incredible speeds, the flames at the tips of its wings leave blazing streaks in its wake. The sight is dazzling to onlookers and terrifying to its foes.
I'll take a look
I'm back, give me a bit to process everything
POKENAME wears a special cap that connects to its brain, allowing it to gain new and shocking insights into how to harness its powers. This burst of insight is followed by a period of sluggishness that is only resolved by lying in the sun.
Is this better?
This one was tough to keep in the character limit
POKENAME use their talons as their main weapons. Strong and sharp, these Pokémon can carry objects more than half their weight for long distances with them. When injured, POKENAME persevere and ignite their feathers to show their fighting spirit.
I should be all caught up, speak now or forever hold your peace
Looks good to me

Torchvanah (279.436)
POKENAME can live on land or in the water thanks to its fins and legs. However, this Pokémon struggles to run, constantly tripping over its own feet and rolling forwards. It also has problems navigating in the water because of its small fins.

Blavanha (281.436)
POKENAME's devastating jaws make it a fearsome predator. Using its legs to maneuver through swamps and forests, it hides in tall trees and ambushes prey by leaping down from above.
Sablvanha (421.436)
This Pokémon lives in deep underground rivers where gem stones are plentiful. Swimming in packs, POKENAME will jump out of the water and clamp its powerful jaws down onto the gems to break them into pieces it and the pack can consume.
Ralvanha (285.236)
Using the fins on top of their bodies, packs of POKENAME can locate vulnerable targets for their next ambush. They communicate silently through subtle fin movements before striking as one.
Because a pronoun REFERS to a noun or TAKES THE PLACE OF that noun, you have to use the correct pronoun so that your reader clearly understands which noun your pronoun is referring to.
Stolen from Purdue OWL
What part of the sentence are you referring to here? Sorry.
Its coming before POKENAME
Ah
You want the subject (the POKENAME) to come before the pronoun (they/it)
Right
That way the pronoun refers to something
Thank you for that clarification!
I, unfortunately, posted it already, though it is the most recent one.
I'll get it, just remember it for the future
Thank you. I will.
clamp its jaws down, since you said This Pokémon in the first sentence
Zigvanha (504.436)
POKENAME approach boats and bite on the siding in an attempt to play with the people on board. These curious creatures are prone to creating holes in these vessels due to their strong jaws while unaware of their own strength.
@severe scroll Want to know a neat trick?
I read entries aloud. Like with the voice aloud. It almost always makes sure that I find some weird phrasing right away
I never thought of that. Thank you!
@hexed fog There's 6 Chewfish off your list.
Ratchic (19.279)
Timid by nature, POKENAME bolt at the faintest sound, clumsily scrambling away in fear. They will only approach trainers they trust, avoiding food left behind by strangers until the area is clear.

POKENAME are a common sight in meadows where flowers are plentiful, fluttering about in small groups. As they drink nectar from flowers, their body leaves behind a slime on the petals that is collected and processed into hydrating skin lotions.

Otherwise, feel free to submit and I’ll fix it tomorrow
Got it, will edit in a minute! I'm not submitting this until July 1st tho

once again, I'm not sure if I should put "the" before something or not

I know the difference between "a" and "the" ofc, but it's a bit hard for me to grasp if I should put any articles before some words or not sometimes
Out of curiosity when do dex updates happen? Like is there a pattern or cycle or

You can see the date of the last one in the pins
Got it, thanks!
I feel like they're updating a bit quicker recently

POKENAME's fur is covered with plants. Its muscles are basically torn in fights, and in older POKENAME, almost all of its muscles are replaced by tiny vines.
When it becomes furious, its blood circulation becomes more robust, and its muscles are made stronger. Venuape's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.

When POKENAME swims, the leaves on its back can be opened as needed to aid swimming or folded to reduce resistance. Its wooden fist can absorb impact, allowing it to go all out.
In general, use the when there is only one of that thing or you have already previously mentioned that thing
so I remove "the" in front of "cemeteries" right?
Ducky is a big part of that. The backlog is pretty much nonexistent

POKENAME are a pest in any cave. Their psychic powers allow them to detect food even in perfect darkness, and their flat bodies and sharp fangs make them difficult to remove once they've latched on.
POKENAME's fur is covered in plants. Whenever it pulls a muscle, the tear is replaced with plant matter for added strength. This is particularly common among older POKENAME.

Is it generally OK to submit different dex entries for each different sprite (that doesn't have an entry, of course) that a Pokemon has?
@raven wave Please note the following:
-
When submitting your discord username, please do not capitalize any part of your entry, as the discord username is always lowercase. This is important as having your exact username allows us to track authors so that we can deliver messages, such as this one.
-
Your entries were denied as it is clear that you have not read the guidelines before you submitted the entries. I suggest reading the lore book in the pinned posts to learn more about how to represent Pokémon and Fusions.
-
Please post entries here to ask for feedback before continuing to write entries, as this helps ensure that the entries are of a quality that is acceptable to have in game. Once you reach a sufficient level of quality expected of authors for the game, at that point you may independently submit entries for the game.
-
Just because an entry is denied, it does not mean you are barred from writing the entry again with revisions or edits. Please feel free to resubmit entries once they have been looked at.
Noted! I did read the guidelines, but I didn't read the lorebook, I'll check it out
There were several entries where you mention the fusion name rather than use the keyword POKENAME. We have an automated system to replace POKENAME with the fusion name so that there are fewer errors with naming
auh does that mean the ones i wrote b4 finding this channel were autodenied
Yes, that was my mistake early on, I fixed that after a while
I'll investigate that shortly, give me like ten minutes
I'll do a thorough investigation after finding out if the other person here has been auto rejected
oh no wait some of mine are on fusiondex nice
There's no need to look too deep into it, if I've consistently made errors it's fine if you dump the ones I've made before making myself more familiar with the lore and guidelines
You are fine, just note it for the future
As you noted, I didn't post anything here for feedback so it's understandable for them to be dismissed with the same effort that I put into making them lol
No no, if you have a few with POKENAME then it should be looked at properly. The ones without POKENAME I will keep on Not Approved status but the ones with POKENAME I will give a fair shake
Yeah I've submitted probably like 30ish of them, and only the first few didn't use POKENAME properly
It said so right there on the submission form so idk how I missed it the first times anyway
slight rewording
It can sense time down to the second, always emerging from its home at the exact same moment each day. It is currently unknown how far its body can extend, nor where the rest of it goes.
I also wrote entries for the Mewtwo/Aegislash fusions which definitely made it sound like there's only one specific Mewtwo/Aegislash rather than a species
Which goes against the Mewtwo Lore Document™

Its body has the smell and consistency of mushed Tropius fruit. At night, it [[???hides in the banana skin how do i phrase this part]] to protect its soft body from danger.
Well technically, you should avoid describing singular instances of any Pokémon, not just Mewtwo, but I appreciate you doing your reading. 👍
Yeah I know, but it's only Mewtwo that I described that way on account of his famous origin
Good to learn from then.
"retracts into its peel" is probably fine
oo yea that works
retracts is actually kind of bad, maybe retreats into, or "reseals its peel"
Its body has the smell and consistency of mushed Tropius fruit. At night, it hides in its outer peel-like shell to protect its soft body from danger.
^?
or just hides in its outer peel
Yeah that's fine too
peel-like leaves? it is grass type
I think just peel is fine, if it can literally have leaves it can literally have a peel
It's not like one kind of plant part is more plausible to have than another

GREAT GOD GROVE PFP

ok last 1 ive got for now
POKENAME uses its cute face and demeanor to lull its opponents into complacency. However, since both sides think it's the cute face, it just ends up going in circles, confused.
sniles
No notes it's very cute
@raven wave Just so you know, a lot of your entries are really close to being good for submission, but there are cliches and bits of narrativizing that make them lose the tone of the Pokedex. Since the Pokedex is an authoritative document, using lots of metaphors and similes lose the focus that is needed.
It isn't bad, its just a styling issue.
Lots of people start in a similar place, I know I did
Metaphors and similes? I don't include things like that intentionally, do you have any examples? I do definitely do a little narrativizing, like I know I made an intentional joke in mawile/magcargo
I can also think of making a reference to ballerinas being jealous of hawlucha/galade too, I can understand how that could correlate with what you said
It's said that POKENAME is actually more dangerous when it's sleepy, because the air released when it yawns is hotter than the surface of the Sun. This is only an urban legend, the air it releases is always that hot.
If it is hotter than the surface of the sun then it'd be pretty hard to approach
Wait I misremembered
I might just be referring to hyperbole
Yeah I was referring to hyperbole my bad
Well yeah, that one I just made as a joke to reference Magcargo's notorious pokedex entry saying it's 10,000c (which is indeed hotter than the surface of the sun)
But I understood the tone of it was certainly cheeky
So I understand it being no good
Cheeky is something that our version of the Pokedex tries to avoid
We're actually a bit stricter than the normal Pokedex, or we try to be
There's a section in the lore book that says we shouldn't exceed 5000 Degrees
Yeah as it happened I read that part as we had this conversation lol
And of course it specifically mentions magcargo
Yup yup, the lore book helps so much with this sort of thing
(for the record the surface of the sun is also only around 5,000c, so it doesn't fully contradict that rule lol)
(Fully aware, just keep the hyperbole reasonable, you shouldn't imply the destruction of the world around it with its existence)
I found one entry that passed
While Wurmple spend most of their time eating in order to evolve, POKENAME doesn't need to eat. It's said its sustenance comes from absorbing the souls of those who touch its shadow while it hangs from the branches of trees.
Rumors and legends are allowed, just remember to keep it vague, otherwise looks pretty good
Yeah I mean that's why I have a lot of "it is said" and "some believe"
In all the entries
I'm aware, which is why I'm doing a manual check
Before my tenure as an Unown some perfectly good entries were denied over the username issue, but now that I have the power ™
I can fix things up so entries can get approved
Also, since we're on the topic of feedback
The username thing is obnoxious but I'm glad you're fixing that now, I'll have them in lowercase from here on
Remember that subjects come before pronouns, the pronoun refers to something so we try to introduce the Pokémon first
It dances with POKENAME's fans is wrong
POKENAME dances with its fans is right
Yeah I do know oftentimes I just say "it" or "this pokemon" but I do think most of the time I don't start with that and then mention the name afterwards? Well, I'll keep it in mind to make sure it's a mistake I don't repeat
Oh right
@raven wave You probably already saw but once entered into the form the Unown has the right to fix up entries to make them game approved as needed
I have done that once so far, and we aren't allowed to completely gut an entry
It was in fact the pronoun issue I fixed
Yeah I mean aside from ones that are obviously no good under the guidelines like the magcargo one obviously I'm glad to have you make whatever alterations are necessary
Really I'm just interested in as many fusions having dex entries as possible
Some people aren't, hence the disclosure
It annoys me whenever I fuse something and there's no dex entry, so I figured I may as well put the effort in to help fix that problem especially since I'm in no position to do spriting right now
Like half of all fusions in the whole game have sprites, but way fewer than that have dex entries (way WAY fewer when you consider all the alternate sprites)
Somebody has to do something
Coincidentally, entries will always be less than the number of sprites since we can only make entry for custom sprites
Yeah but the non-custom sprites don't really count
All due respect to japeal but his are a stopgap necessarily
https://fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/219.344a/
Though it's overflowing with lava, POKENAME never burns the ground because any that drips off of it is immediately teleported away. Some believe it is teleported directly into volcanoes, making POKENAME the source of all geothermal heat.
The last sentence doesn't make much sense on a macro setting level because that's not how plate tectonics work
Sure, but admittedly that is the same kind of nonsense that you always see in legendary pokedex entries. Maybe the pokemon experts just aren't experts on plate tectonics
Maybe you can say
"...Making POKENAME the source for many eruptions."
That way it doesn't literally fuel the planet's core while still seeming mighty
Also, there are some tame legendaries if they are fused with baby Pokémon
Maybe, I do still like it being at least a little eyebrow-raisingly implausible, if not totally impossible
Let me think of some way to tone it down
Legendaries have been a chronic problem for the Pokedex, we've had everything from blowing up the world to changing the pokedex itself, all rejected of course
Though it's overflowing with lava, POKENAME never burns the ground because any that drips off of it is immediately teleported away. Some believe it is teleported directly into the ground, transforming many otherwise-stable mountains into explosive volcanoes.
Let me pass you off to one of the other Unown, I still need to go through yesterday's entries
<@&1210701164426039366> Anyone want to help give feedback for this entry?
I do try to make my legendary entries largely based on hearsay and rumor and speculation, since I do subscribe to the opinion that even in the original pokedex a lot of stuff about legendaries is mythologized and probably played up
If Palkia was really the one and only god of space itself it seems implausible a little child could trap it in a ball
But it's no fun for an entry to be like "well, it's the Palkia, but it's not that big of a deal"
Give it some time, most of the Unown are probably just waking up or at lunch, I'll get back to you if no one does
I'm not in a rush
What in the word is alfictee supposed to mean
Oh I see, the like
Receptive noun form of afflict
I don't think such a word exactly exists but I'm sure something semantically similar does
What's the sentence you're going for?
Looking into it technically people have said "aflictee" before but it's a vanishingly uncommon word so best to avoid
those afflicted is the closest you will get
There is no word for afflictee sadly
After coming back to this, I am even less sure of my stance on this entry, so I will let another lore savvy Unown pick it up
You think I can get away with it or?
I guess i need the entry to show yall huh
One sec
The silk surrounding POKENAME is exceptionally sticky, often causing it to become attached to other people and Pokémon. Removing this is nearly impossible, and the unfortunate aflictee must often wait for POKENAME to evolve and remove the silk itself.
Im not fond of aflictee here either but not sure what to replace it with
-# A better word than aflictee probably
The silk surrounding POKENAME is exceptionally sticky, often causing it to become attached to other people and Pokémon. Removing this is nearly impossible, and those afflicted must, unfortunately, often wait for POKENAME to evolve and remove the silk itself.
I think i can now get away with removing unfortunately now, so that helps too
Thanks
Cool

? Good?
Good enough, I'll deal with it tomorrow
Also does it make sense for my mon in mind (cascoon/drifloon)?
(Inspo is the whole balloon static electricity thing but with sticky silk.)
Actually silcoon is the sticky one isnt it
Hmm
Yea silcoon is the one more known for just hanging on things
Is there a silcoon/drif?
You could add strings to the sentence somewhere and it might work
No why would there be :/, that'd be too easy
The silk strings surrounding POKENAME are exceptionally sticky, causing them to attach to nearby Pokémon. Removing this string is nearly impossible, and those afflicted must wait for POKENAME to evolve to remove the strings.
You think I could use that for cascoon?
Sure, I don't mind
My job is to help you all write entries
Maybe ill move it if it ever gets sprited, but I ain't doing it and even if it does get done it'll be like 3 months after that
Till then, casc/drif
Thanks for the help
Oh character count needs checked huh, one sec (im thinkings its good just in case tho)
224 im good
(Caps 250 right?)
250 cap correct
What's a mini reverse exercise
The gem in the center of POKENAME's face perpetually reflects the night sky, even in the harshest of weather. In areas where wet seasons dominate much of the year, astronomers will often use this pokemon to study and map the stars.
Wrote an entry before picking a mon
Then found a mon that fits it
Entry is above, its now going to a clefairy/staryu
I... don't recommend doing that, its like shoe-horning in an entry
Yea i know. It was more a test lol. I had fun writing it tho, thats the important part
I had to try it once lol
Submit it if it fits the Pokémon
Beein #15.535a (Honey Slime - Slime Rancher)
https://www.fusiondex.org/sprite/pif/15.535a/
POKENAME's body is similar in consistency and smell to honey. They squeeze into Beedrill hives and disguise themselves as part of the comb so they will be fed honey. Beedrill that grow suspicious of POKENAME in the hive are eaten during the night.
Solid entry, go ahead and shoot it
ngl i thought it would have to be edited
like the third sentence and how it (in my mind) doesn't seem clear that POKENAME are the ones eating the beedrill
