Gen 7 is the most under-represented, however it also has a disproportionate amount of pokemon that'd have to be events as 20% of Gen 7 (18/86) are Legendaries, Mythicals or Ultrabeasts.
Gen 4, the highest representation that isn't gen 1 or 2, is biased in the opposite direction as 37% of the Pokemon has in Gen 4 are extensions of previous evolution lines.
If you remove the UBs, Gen 5 is the lowest with most of the pokemon it does have being introduced in the last two big drops.

People are usually worried about AI replacing human-made content, but in this case it was literally the other way around: the AI content was just placeholder waiting to be replaced by human-made entries.

I still think that it would've been a fun feature and it was actually very well-received during the 3 months that it was in the beta version.
