My gripe with legendaries is that GameFreak has shown that they can take a regular Pokemon like Mabosstiff and give it an interesting story, but instead of doing more stuff on that or more stuff like "I'm a villain team and we're trying to invoke deific powers to mess with the world because Starbucks got my name wrong," a lot of legendaries since gen 5 have been "Hi this is the box legendary here you go!" right out the gate, or they've been mythicals which are like regular Legendary Pokemon except they induce fomo

So if you play for a bit (can’t just sit idle) the game slowly adds more customs over time

I wouldnt say sigiliyph is a totem pole. Totem poles often depict multiple creatures or things stacked on top of each other. Sigilyph is sort of just a face with things attached
