Hey @gaunt bane! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 501 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-501). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

nah, easilly doable in like 40

do a playthrough, you dont need to cheat, the game isnt made to be hard. at all.
then after you're done its only a couple hours to fill in the gaps of the pokedex.

easy difficulty if you are afraid of "grind" (which we didnt put in the game at all either).

You can also do cheese strats. Once you beat the elite 4, you unlock Legendary Mode alongside NG+ which gives you a free egg of every legendary. Now I don't think magic boots is possible on that mode but you can new game + those eggs to a remix or classic save

This will cut a significant amount of hours off dex completion

Hey @frail prairie! Are you trying to evolve Nincada? It evolves into Ninjask at level 20! If you have an empty slot in your party and a normal red Pokéball in your bag (won't work with other balls), you'll also get a Shedinja! If your Nincada was fused with something else (say, a rare legendary), you'll thus have two fusions of that other Pokémon, successfully duplicating it. :eyes:

Hey, I am struggling with the randomizer after returning to the game since a long time. Fresh install, new save. I randomized everything under Pokemon, including static encounters. The traded Pokemon stays unrandomized, is this intended? I remember way back that you got the pokemon but with the moveset of the orginal pokemon that the trainer should've had.

good to know, thx. The second issue I have is that Arenas are randomized in type in my game, e.g. Brock having psychic types, BUT the trainers very rarely have a pokemon of the arena type. e.g. having ghost/dragon in a psychic arena. Did I screw up somewhere in the settings?

If you're wanting to unfuse a Pokémon you got from a trade: Pokémon with a different OT than yours cannot be unfused! However, you can make it forget its OT in the school in Violet City (post game) for ₱50 000. You're free to unfuse it after that!

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Hidden Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.

If you're wanting to unfuse a Pokémon you got from a trade: Pokémon with a different OT than yours cannot be unfused! However, you can make it forget its OT in the school in Violet City (post game) for ₱50 000. You're free to unfuse it after that!

Not sure if this is the right channel, but is anyone aware of any issues with Love Balls or other balls with specific mechanics? I think some of these mechanics might be a little off or broken, as a couple of times I tried to use the Love Ball in the correct circumstances (my pokemon had an opposite gender to the enemy pokemon, after having it on status conditions and lowered health), and it immediately broke out. Not a single shake. It looks like it just instantly failed.

hey quick question, that may be a bit stupid - (randomized - insane) why is it that every pokeball (found in a route) gives me a burn drive and every berry becomes a golden bannanna?

they are not randomizer on a per pickup basis.
but rather an item turns into another item

early you pretty much only find oran berries as the berry
and potions or pokeballs as items pickups.

all oran berries became golden bananas in your case for example.

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

They can also be bought from the Silph Co. Lobby for 11,000$ if you saved 7 or more employees, or 8,000$ if you saved all the employees!

To use Exp Share, give it to a Pokémon to hold. That Pokémon will now gain XP without needing to participate in battle.

Exp Share will NOT stack with Exp All.

how does "Remember a move" in the normal menu work? What kinds of moves can I remember with them? Since it's not every move the pokemon could learn and not every move the pokemon has ever learned... I find it a bit confusing D:

you give it to a pokemon. if you mean exp all, you activate it in your inventory. if you want it at the start of the game you need to use the easy difficulty

every move they have had in their menu bar before

if want to learn that they never actually learnt before, go to the second floor pokemon center for the move relearner
