How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups

5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

you could finish things up on that save, do ng+, have your box full of all mons you had [just at level 5 and base form]
once you get your pokedex talk to the help man to "fix the game" [this is early in the menu, so no worry about going too deep] and it will register any mon in your box

Hey @barren sinew! Trying to get past the Corsola on Kindle Road? After defeating Jasmin on Kin Island, you'll get a Mareanie. Having Mareanie, Toxapex, or a fusion with them in your party will scare off most Corsola.

However, the Corsola at Mt. Ember won't be scared by Mareanie alone. You'll need the Mareanie doll from the fisherman's house on Kin Island to scare them away. Use the map below for location:

I have a vague memory of talking to two policemen indoors in a certain building, but it was just a normal conversation, and I can't find the location anymore after checking several cities.
Since I might have missed those initial triggers, I went to the Goldenrod Underground to try and join Team Rocket, hoping it would trigger something with the police, but that didn't work either. Now, I'm stuck because if I go directly to the island, the police officers there don't give me any dialogue options to report a crime or begin an undercover mission.

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.

Hey @ashen swift! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

• Goldenrod Radio Tower (Upstairs): Play the "Guess That Fusion" Quiz Show (Save beforehand in case of crashes). Scoring 25,000; 35,000; 40,000(A Perfect Game) points in a single run of the Advanced mode will each reward you with a Master Ball.
• Knot Island (Triple Battle Lounge): When the Lounge is Legendary-themed, winning a Triple Battle will earn you a Master Ball.

I was wrong. just checked that not doing those quest won’t affect the amount of the requirement which related to masterball (60 by the requirement of the scientist in hotel),but still it seems to delay the time I can get gsball and masterball since I have to do more quests in Johto to reach 50/60 finish
