The level cap is a hard cap, your pokemon will not gain exp past the cap

Traded Pokemon have always had an obedience mechanic. Depending on the amount of badges you have, there is a level cap before traded pokemon stop obeying you. In Gen 4 it goes up every 2 Badges.
0-1 Badge is Level 10
2-3 Badges is Level 30
4-5 Badges is Level 50
6-7 Badges is Level 70
8 Badges is Level 100

You mentionned debug mode and you don't have the role proving you got it legitimately, which means either you didn't bother getting the role or you didn't get the debug mode through the normal way.
Either way, the rules here dictate that you don't get help (gameplay or technical) for this.
If you did get the shoes legitimately, consider doing "?tag proof" and get the role first, only then can you get help on debug-related issues (and probably in #tech-support rather than here).

Probably not.
More often than not they were items the base for this game (pokemon essentials) had, they were not removed to prevent causing potential issues but if they are not already added somewhere, odds are they won't be in the future either.
The only reason they are available through random is because it picks from all existing items (except key items).
Content-wise, the game is pretty much complete already.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Yes and no, you still have the limit of 4 moves at the same time, and at most you only have 2 types you would do STAB with, fusion or not.
More variety can be helpful, but it is not necessarily as big of a deal as you might think at first.

Oh, there are some broken combos, but in most cases the fusions don't have much over the non-fused pokemons.
Maximising stats is something that often barely makes a difference other than for example adding speed to a special attacker or better defensive stats at the cost of offensive ones.

For the most part, abilities and typing are the main reasons to be doing fusions for an advantage, many of us do it for the sprite rather than making stronger pokemons though.

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

So this can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn

To dupe Pokemon, all you need is one Nincada, one normal red Pokeball, and an empty slot in your party. Nincadas are easy to obtain in both Classic and Remix. In #ask-a-bot you can ask "How to get Nincada"

Steps:

1. Fuse the Pokemon you want to dupe with a Nincada. This will work with any Pokemon, including legendaries, mythicals, etc.
2. Level up the fusion to any evolution level. Nincada evolves at lvl. 20. Make sure you have a red Pokeball and an empty slot in your party.

• Note: Any evolution will work, meaning if the other half evolves under 20 (e.g Kakuna, the dupe will also work and you will end up with two Beedrills.)

3. The fusion will now split: you'll have a Ninjask and, in the empty space you had, you'll now have a Shedinja. Both will be fused with the Pokemon you're duping.

IVs ,EVs, and Natures will also carry onto both the new fusions and will have the exact same values.

Best thing to do is:

1. redownload from the steam deck guide
2. Extract it
3. Wherever your current game folder is, delete it.
4. Move the new files from step 2 in the same location as where your old folder was. Just make sure it is the same name as what your old was.

Basically just swapping it out and you are good.

If you delete it from steam, it also deletes your save data and you don’t want that

So I noticed something: when fusing Pokemon, even if they are both the same gender (ex: two male nidoran) they will lose their gender upon fusion.

But when unfusing, only one of the nidoran regains its gender, while the other one seems to be permanently genderless.

Is there a way to control which Pokémon keeps their original gender when unfusing?

There are different game modes, remix is a bit more challenging than classic overall (not by a massive amount) but if you want an actual challenge then pick classic mode and when you get to Viridian, go talk to the help guy in the pokecenter and ask him about expert mode.
That mode is specifically about being quite a bit harder (max EV and IV for all trainers but not wild pokemons) and all of their teams are changed (including gyms using different types).
Combined with level cap in the options, you should have a pretty challenging run even in NG+.

Having trouble keeping up your chain? Read through the steps below.

1. Gather up Repels and Pokéballs of your choice. It is also recommended to have Elixirs, Ethers, or Leppa Berries as well to maintain PP.
2. Apply a repel outside of the grass ⬅️ and then enter the grass where your desired Pokémon is located. The Radar has its own built in radar that only lasts 8 steps. The extra repel is for larger patches that would require more than those 8 steps. For small patches of grass, additional Repels aren’t needed
3. Use the Radar and interact with rustling grass until you find the Pokémon you are looking for, running away from any Pokémon you are not hunting.
4. Defeat or capture the Pokémon. Do not run away. More grass will be rustling around you. Choose a spot that is 4 steps away through grass tiles and is surrounded by grass on all sides. If such a location does not rustle, reuse your PokéRadar until it is. This will not break your chain.
5. Repeat step four until you find a shiny. You can use items between battles to maintain your Pokémon HP and PP.

After 20 battles, you have maxed out your Shiny chance. After 40 battles, you no longer risk breaking your chain based on grass distance however, having grass tiles around a spot is still important.

Many things can break the chain, so more details on when it breaks could help giving you tips (for example, right after a battle would have different causes compared to when walking towards the next shaking grass).

If it breaks when the battle ends (assuming you caught or defeated the pokemon, of course), it can be several things.
For example, only go to spots that have grass in all 8 directions, and preferably 4 tiles away (not 4 steps, it counts diagonals as 1 as well) from your previous (you can use the radar to get a new set of shaking grass without breaking the chain).

If it's while walking, make sure you use the repel before entering the grass as the bot told you, the built-in repel in the radar is not long enough.

When you install/update, you get all of the sprites that were available at the point the update was made.
Currently that means that the last 2 packs are not included.
The game downloads sprites as you play unless you tell it not to in the options, but it can lead to some sprites not being downloaded yet as you play (there are limits on sprite downloads through the game).
Most people don't need to manually download and install the sprite packs anymore thanks to those systems, but you can still do that if you want all of the sprites right away.
