Abilities are linked to a pokemon's species, you can't transfer them.
You can however pick the ability you want between the two when fusing, which is how you get a slaking fusion without truant for example.

No, eggs hatch based on step taken, not elapsed time.
The Flame body ability on a pokemon in your team doubles the value of the steps.
The bike counts as "steps" as well, so finding a long straight line (preferably that doesn't change routes) can be a good way to hatch an egg (or several at once), especially with the speedup key.

Alternatively, once you have access to goldenrod you can bet incubators (gives a relatively large amount of "steps" all at once) and super incubators (hatches instantly).

After you get dive (after the elite 4), you can also access a spa in the early parts of sevii islands (right after the dive spot that opens up the rest of the islands), standing in the bath allows you to also hatch eggs without having to move around.

If for whatever reason you can't find the first switch, exit and re-enter.

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

• After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
• After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
• After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.
• After 29 rematches and gaining 6 or more badges, it will evolve again if not maxed already.

Wild pokemons with items are fairly rare, so having Frisk to be sure if the opponent has an item does help

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

So this can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Just to see if this has been fixed or not, if you are using an old file from before 5.0 and had picked up the Teleporter, is it possible to get the Bedroom Key for Lavender somewhere or no? I also already have Darkrai in this save, can that be used in any way to get Cresselia without the bedroom key?

Your best bet would probably be to do everything else then go for NG+ (or go for NG+ right away), to reset the map and play with everything in the new version.
