I don't know if I accidentally gave him all of the right answers, or I need to do something else, or the Mystic Water spawn is bugged or something, or if there's actually more than one possible combination that yields "the right answers".

as far as i understand, team rocket quests become impossible after mt. ember due to TR disbanding.
i'm unsure if there's another route you can take to progress the quests (i may need to do some more testing on my own time)

currently, there is a typo in the code -- scraggy should have been encounterable by radar somewhere within the map, but was instead placed as a radar encounter in a random cave on knot island i believe. you cannot use the radar thee as there is no grass, so currently, it's unobtainable outside of the TR questline

when frog returns, we'll probably push to have that be fixed

you can always ng+ your save if you wouldnt mind re-evolving all the pokemon (just be sure to unfuse everything beforehand)

youd have the correct amount of pokemon, they'd just be all de-evolved at lvl 5. you'd have all legendaries/mythics (minis diancie, so youd have to go to TR) so you wouldnt have to worry about that, and arguably you could be done with completion before e4 (porygon would be the only mon youd have to evolve by gym 8 i think)

but i understand thats a lot of work on top of all the catching and evolving you already did, so just a suggestion rather than a recommendation

i suggest this because we dont know when frogs gonna come back
its been a few days already with radio silence

Best place to farm exp before the Elite 4 would be Cool Trainer Alexa on the 3F of Victory Road. They have 2 Hitmon fusions + 1 Blissey fusion that are all lvl 42. If you don't want to walk much, you can also battle Cool Trainer Sofia outside of the League that has a lvl 42 Chansey and lvl 45 fusion.

In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

Hey @ocean nest! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

You can enter the river area from one of two tiles, top and bottom. The top tile will basically only spawn Gen 6 starters, while the bottom tile can spawn any of the other starters. So enter from the top for froakie

Hey! Are you having a hard time getting into the Secret Forest or Viridian River, or are you looking for ||extra starters||? After getting to Celadon, you can enter it from Route 16!
