Another randomizer question. When you use the pokeradar it shows you the dna symbol instead of the pokemon silhouette and then the rare spawn is still the old silhouette but a new pokemon.

Hey @supple cliff! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

The implementation is just a teaser for the fully release. So in the UI you have limited options. If you really want to change your appearance, you need rename a handful of files in your game files to do so

• For example, to change to Hex Maniac you need to rename ALL of its sprites to use the word red or leaf depending on gender. Ex: clothes_bike_HexManiac.png. You would need to rename it to clothes_bike_red.png. Same concept applies to hair, and hats
• and then you need to move those files into the red or leaf folder to replace those files
