Hey @warm girder! Are you looking for a Mew? You can find them by having 22 Positive Karma and go to Mt. Moon Observatory. Mew will spawn while viewing the telescope. Move the dot in the center of the telescope to start the battle. If you don't see Mew, but hear its cry, that means you need more Positive Karma. Hey @normal summit! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.
Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Step 1 visit each room,
Step 2 play piano in basement, only 1 note needs to be played
Step 3 find a doll in one of the rooms, interact with it
Step 4, ensure the doll has despawned from the room after leaving it, now try to find it in another room
Step 5 once you have found the doll in each room, return to the piano room, the doll should be there
Step 6 encounter Mimikyu in the entrance hall to the south.
Note If the doll appears in the entrance hall to the south, it has bugged and will not move. Exit house to reset puzzle.

I mapped the strat out for Expert Mode and you can play Blackjack to pawn off the Big Nugget + Amulet the old ladies for 10k a battle

He'll give you a Mareanie Doll, which you can use to get past the Corsola reefs.

You choose the mon every trainer will have fused to their Pokemon, but it only affects fusions in a trainer’s teams

Also it’s only for enemy trainers. You and wild Pokemon are exempt

but either way, something you did messed with the switches in game. It currently thinks you don't have the silph scope when you do. Using debug to get key items can have effects on many things
it isn't looking for the item in your bag, it is looking for something else in the code to say yes you got the key item through this event
