Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

i just got a shiny solosis by using the chaining method and the radar, but for some reason it's marked as a black star shiny, which as far as i know means it's cheated by either using the debug mode or changing the game files, however i did neither of those and don't know if this is a bug of some sort or if shiny hunting with the radar is considered to be "cheating" for whatever reason, i don't really want the rest of my shiny's to appear cheated

but the slowpoke well event kinda bypasses that
and then you just beat any of the other johto gym leaders and you can dive normally
