The event allows player in-fighting or even helping Tyron at times. The point is to get him, but otherwise people are competitors unless they decide to work together. Most probably won't.

So, I won't be surprised some will want to eliminate said competition or even prey on it for resources to speed up their own advancement while slowing that of others.

More seriously, yeah, I suspect allowing players to fight each other was a risky move. And I bet that some don't care about Tyron at all, just see it as free-for-all deathmatch excuse.

Not that I'd be able to join but yall should have an outcast mass produce slings.
30 dudes with slings and just rocks for ammo could do wonders.
Plus I think you can use a wicker shield with slings so the slingers could always run and block to let spear throwers and clubmen follow up and get in melee.
Its just a tiny hide wetted with a bit of fat so it should be decently easy to amass a small horde.
