@noble helmI think the entire arctis lineup has the same earpads. You can remove and replace them. personally i ordered custom ones for the arctis since the default ones are too small so your ears touch the inside of the speaker which is hard plastic.
It's not the easiest thing to do, but if you did it once it isn't that hard either.

That entirely depends on whether you want omnipoint switches or not. I personally like being able to set two different actuation points for general typing and desktop work and a different one for gaming, but a lot of people don't really care about that. If that's the case then save some money and go with the Apex 7. Same exact board and features minus the option for omnipoint switches.

Yes, the mic on the headset will work fine, just make sure when you're plugging into the laptop that Windows is detecting it as a headset that way it knows to use that mic instead of the mic onboard the laptop attached to the webcam.
most laptops have combo headphone and mic jacks which work the same as separate jacks like you find on most desktop PC cases

The regular QcK Prism is the "Large" variant even though it's not labeled like that on the website. It's about 14x11 inches while the QcK Prism Medium is 12x10 inches, then of course there's the XL that's deskpad size

ahhhh I overlooked that item. the regular is still about 3.7x4.7 inches smaller than the usual large, but that isn't too bad. I'm hoping SteelSeries comes out with that size in the thinner "cloth" variant though. Thanks!
