Well it comes from oils from your fingertips, so i expect it would make them less grippy, but i'm not sure if it would make a competitive difference. Either way, it's not very nice, and replacement keycaps are recommended.

The problem in short, the audio drivers on Windows 10 arenβt properly compatible with a USB microphone. Thus, the microphone levels are incredibly low. This change brought along some severely low volume issues to any USB microphone that doesnβt come with its own drivers. Unfortunately, the problem is still persistent in Windows 10.
For sure the headset i'm using is using windows drivers (i did not installed anything and when checked, on steelseries website there is no specific driver)

It's not just staffing issues. Likely most people are buying online as they're in lockdown. I know my personal online spending went up during my brief time in lockdown, that and stocks and crypto currency. And with work, we suffered because I had COVID, so the online team went out of commission for a good two weeks and we've only just caught up with the orders. And our online is heavily involved, it's not like we have the stock in our warehouse we have to move about between two stores on the premises, transfer stock over from other stores in the county and then admin and paperwork so it takes us time, but for other businesses it's a lot more straight forward with warehouses full of stock. Certainly try Amazon or Curry's (if you're in the UK) the warranty will still be there with steelseries, but like you id rather my money goes to the OEM. But I'm sure the stock drop will be soon!
