Ive only really used the steelseries, as I've got the pro+dac which is great but way out of the price budget. The quality on the steelseries headsets is great and you can't go wrong with the 3s. And I must admit, I can't comment on the hyperx I'm sure they're decent, but it's worth trying both if you can and see what you find is comfortable :)

Arctis 3
We received customer feedback that while the original cable system was versatile and convenient, there was also concern about misplacing the 4-pole (mobile) adapter when not in use. So we eliminated the adapter and made the 4-pole 3.5mm connector part of the main cable, and changed the dual 3.5mm cable into an extension. In short, we simplified the cable system from three components down to two.
So thicker cushions around the ears, a slightly tweaked soundscape and smaller buttons to stop accidental bumpage

If the Bluetooth is a function you'll use its worth it. And you can still use it as the regukar 3s. It's all personal choice though ofc. But as long as you're happy with what you buy it's all cool!

My school is also filled with a heck ton of problem kids and bad infastructure, once a kid tried to climb over a slightly rusty fence and it had just rained the day before, and he slipped and got stabbed by the fence, and it was 1 cm away from jabbing his kidney, I was only a few meters away, and this was doing PE, where they just let us run around a bunch of woods (The PE teachers are lazy AF in the younger classes)

Hold the DAC button, it's input then scroll over to hi Res audio, once done you'll need to adjust the settings in Windows should be something like 96khz
