Hmm. Probably a faulty key if you ask me. If you do try lubing it make sure you use something plastic safe, I typically use white lithium grease from the WD40 company on plastic things.

You don't remove the key, just the keycap. Depress the key and squirt a little grease inside, work the key up and down to spread the grease
