Hey guys, I’ve run into a weird issue - when I have Sonar enabled in my headset software and start a screen share (main screen) in Discord, my voice starts doubling (the sound comes both from voice chat and the stream). Has anyone else had this problem?

Due to a bug in Discord's screen capture, Discord may capture Sonar outputs as part of the desktop audio, which can lead to echoing when screen sharing.

This issue can be fixed by setting Discord's capture to only capture a specific app. Application capture will only play audio from the selected app, and will not erroneously capture Sonar audio.

Alternatively, if you'd still want to capture the full desktop, you can use Sonar's streamer mode to manually choose what audio to send over your mic, and mute the stream sharing audio. More information on how to do this is in the links below.

There are a lot of different things you can use to make SteelSeries a good experience on linux

OpenRBG for RGB control (for everything you own and is plugged in your PC)
rivalcfg for controlling SteelSeries mice
EasyEffects to manage sonar etc etc

I don't think SteelSeries Has an official app for Linux so yeah

Macintosh Keycaps. Why are there none? I have the Apex Pro Gen 3. I can use it on a Mac Studio. It would be nice to have 4 keys caps to replace the 2 Windows Logo keys, and the 2 Alt keys. All you need is two Command and two Option keys. It's a simple logo fix. I would pay for them for certain.

In order for apps to output to the other devices in Sonar, you'll need to route the apps to the specified device. Routing can be done in one of two ways:

1. Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

2. Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

How does one make SteelSeries software stop setting different audio devices to default?
I once again thought my headphones were broken this morning, turns out they were on some random audio as default.

I even have my headset set to "default device" yet when I turned on my pc this morning something else was set to default device.

Hey guys got a big issue with my Nova pros wireless that I have had for 2 years.

All of a sudden they have started losing a lot of range. I used to be able to walk around my house with no issues. Now I can’t go to the bathroom, which is 2 meters away without horrific screeching, popping and disconnects.

But the real issue is that they have started having a few seconds of robotic audio every 5-6 minutes. This is odd as I sit inches from the base station.

Here is a list of things I tried:

• altering my router WiFi 2.4ghz channels and width. (I am on a different floor to the router)
• changed the base station to every port.
  -tried a new cable
• tried a USB C to USB C
  Set the base station to Range and Speed, it made no difference.
• reset the base station
• re-paired my headset
• power cycled the station
• checked for any firmware updates (there were none)

Had the nova pro wireless for 2 years and they are a large step back from the last gen acrtis pro wireless. Range is worse, even with tuning they sound worse, the mic is worse.

I was really disappointed, not to mention mine at 2 years in seen to be having major connection issues due to the base station dying. It’s good they offer new base stations but they are more than half the price I paid for the headset which is extreme.

Yo @craggy chasm here's some feedback for you, I like the ghost and shadow colours of the new aerox. Pink a bit too Neon for me but I can see the vision. Kinda wish I could have a 3d view of a keyboard, mouse, mousepad setup so I can compare different colours to see if I like it. But that's a tangent. Point is I like the new Aerox style.

I have a question, when I have the windows sound output as Headset (3 - arctis nova), I get this message in the sonar app. But when I press click to set as default, it changes the output on windows to "Steelseries sonar gaming" and i can no longer turn down the discord call sound, in windows

Every feature can be part of the preset if it was turned on with it, if not you can always try by yourself to see if spatial makes surround better for ya

I loved and were passionate about being a part of ... well, something I enjoy. I received a message from Lennart telling me that I got unbanned. Never thought this day would happen. It's funny ...
