Use the routing drag and drop interface underneath the audio outputs to simply move any apps playing sounds to the required output

Open the Windows sound device by going to Settings > Sound > App Volume and Device Preferences. From this settings menu you can use the dropdown to route any app.

If you are having issues with step 2 or step 3 above, you may need to check the app itself for any sound output settings. Some apps like Discord, Spotify, and Apple Music may need to have their outputs changed within their app settings rather than done through Sonar.

good afternoon everyone my apologies for barging into this dc; but im afraid my Arctis 1 wireless headphones have not survived the trip to and from Paris intact. Ive had them for about 5 years or so thanks to having been able to replace the wire, wireless dongle, and mic serveral times when previously damaged: however this is a first for the ear cushions . The "Arctis Airweave Ear Cushions" advertised on the website dont state if theyre compatable with the Arctis 1 Wireless headset or not or if theyre only for newer models. Anyojne know if theyre compatable or not?

I adore these headphones, there super comfortable and at the perfect level of blocking out excess noise and letting me still hear people around me (the woes of the autism spectrum means over stim can happen easily enough for myself, but noise cancelling headphones work too well), and I would hate to have to part with them after so many years

Then check sonar and add a device (your headphones) to the microphone selector

Like next to the audio output gaming, chat etc there should be a microphone selection and set that to your arctis nova pro

I had the same issue before and btw sometimes after a while or when you turn off your pc the microphone might not work again but all you have to do is open sonar again and then it remembers the settings

In conclusion, the steel series software is garbage

Well it’s decent compared to other gaming company softwares but garbage nonetheless

And if those fixes don’t work: if you haven’t checked already but pretty sure you did, check what microphone you set it to in sound settings

Hi, after firmware update that allowed me to use my nova 5X with Switch 2 via dongle, now I connected back the dongle to the PC and headset connecting to dongle, windows shows its available as a sound source and yet there is no sound
Any idea what can I do? I restarted the PC, I turned on and off sonar, nothing helps.
I checked it works with Switch 2 but not with PC and I did not change anything on PC. Also If I set the dongle to Xbox mode it has sound again but GG app cant see the headset that way.

Anyone else do the update and feel like the app is super quiet now? Before the update i used to be able to have my volume set at 2 on my pc and my buddies in discord set 35 and have that be almost too loud. I had that issue awhile back. One of my batteries was bad, had to get a new set. If your headset is still within warranty, you can just reach out to support and request a replacement. They'll send you some new batteries. Otherwise, a replacement set of two NPW batteries is $10 on the website last time I checked

Probably, but my mic is permanently muted, the power light is staying on, but it's not playing sound or reconnecting to the dongle

Their website said to do a reset on it using a pin after the battery was drained, so I've gotta wait 2 days to hopefully fix it.

Yes, that's known. But the warranty doesn't cover damage to the case or any paint chips. also within the 2 year warranty according to steelseries support staff.

Try a hard reset of the headphones. There's a hole under the R ear cushion to insert a pin and reset them. Then, unplug the USB adapter and plug it back in while holding the sync button. Turn on the headphones and hold the sync button to pair them again. Open the GG software. This will also restart the firmware installation. It worked for me after doing this several times.

I am curious if Steelseries makes any mice with the same size as the rival 600 without the grip issues that one has

I've been running the 600 for probably years now and I love it except for the grips come off sometimes and get caught on my mouse pad

One thing I can't seem to find is a good mouse that can be as heavy as the 600 fully kitted out (a little over 150g)

I guess I could get used to a lighter mouse, but it feels so weird, I tried my father's g502 and it just doesn't feel right
I've used steelseries mice for so long, they seem to have a better grasp of what works for my type of hand, my rival 310 had a grip that was super comfortable, only reason I got a 600 was because the grip on the 310 finally came off completely

I also wouldn't mind wireless, but that's not a deal breaker.

Looking at some options they look the same but I am really concerned about the grip problem
