Partly due to demographics but I'm not SS so i can only speculate. The Nova Pros are marketed towards pro/top tier audio, so they typically have a more premium aesthetic (the metallic/monochromatic design)

Plus... believe it or not, filling the ear cup with electrics such as lights can negatively impact driver performance (when it comes to physical space/shielding/etc)

So to address this further first... Keep in mind that the Nova Pro Wired is $250 with a DAC and microphone. The Sennheiser 560S is a superior sounding headphone, which retails for $200, but then you still need a mic and DAC for similar features, and that won't work well on an Xbox without spending even more money. So I'm comparing it to other premium headphones even in a remotely similar price range.

Not saying mine is the best by the way. It really comes down to preference. I tune closer towards Harman curve without being too extreme or fatiguing. I also try to expand the sound stage slightly without hurting imaging performance.

Hi friends, I joined you today by buying arctis 3, but when I connect the headset with dual 3.5 jack from the front panel, the sound comes out, but it does not detect the microphone, sometimes it sees the microphone as a speaker and picks up the sound on the computer. I was smitten by the HS80 for a while because it looked good and comfort was amazing. Mic is great too. But it lacks BT, the sound isn't as good (subjective), and the battery life was pretty rough

HS80 sounds less dynamic/punchy. If you want games/explosions to have more oomph to them, or have slightly more sparkle up top, then the Nova 7 would have the edge

Tbh the only real advantage that the Nova Pro Wireless has over something like the Nova 7 wireless is the hot swappable battery system so there's never any downtime for charging. But the Nova 7 also has a fast charge function, so it basically comes down to whether you think the battery system is worth the extra $$$

The base station is neat, but also kind of gimmicky. If they have a good deal on the NPW for black friday that isn't going to break your wallet, then go for it. Otherwise, the Nova 7 would be more than fine

I use my base station for volume and chat control just because it's there, but yeah the battery system is the main selling point honestly. Especially if you want to get several years out of a wireless headset, being able to swap the batteries easily and buy replacements whenever your current cells die out is fantastic

The only thing you should probably be aware of is that for some people with larger heads, the ear cups could not be thick enough for you and the ANC mic nub inside the earcups might rub up against your ear canal and be super uncomfortable. I don't have that problem personally, but I've seen it brought up here several times

If that's the case, third party cushions from sites like Wicked Cushion do exist that are thicker (and arguably more comfortable in general), but just something to be aware of if you get the headset and are one of the unlucky people to have the earcup problem

I don't work for the company so I couldn't tell you for sure, but my understanding is that they really only do partnership/sponsorship deals with eSports teams and leagues and not really individuals. They're a considerably smaller company compared to the competition so they tend to be a bit stricter with deals

Has anyone had their pc shut off because of the keyboard? I went to the bathroom, when I came back all screens were black, pc wasnt starting, plugged out all things gpu ram etc, and all usb things then it start with bsod alot of corrupted files etc, I plug back in the keyboard to press F1 for recovery and it crashes when I plug it in, I google one of the files that were corrupted and it said that it can ne caused by a short in the ground wire on the keyboard. I think I reset the keyboard and the pc magically booted after just restarting it so idk seems good now but strange
