Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the volume on the mixer, every time I move from the Mixer tab to either Game/Chat/Microphone, My Arctics 9X changes the volume level back to 50% every time, I can't make any adjustments to my audio because I have to keep putting the volume back to 100% so i can hear anything

Personally I owe the steel series Arctic 9 for xbox but I use the Bluetooth function on computer. For me on the start up of the headset it starts off at 50%, But I don't have issues with mine dimming the volume back to 50% randomly

There are 3 modes. Now I don't now it's names but I know one of them is gaming XD You have to make sure you chose sound device called "Gaming sonar" or sth like that. On my PC other ones don't work. If this won't help, then just choose "Headphones (Arctis 5)" (for example) and it should get the job done, but in that case you won't be able to use your sound mixer if you have one

It depends on what device you chose in sound settings. I don't use Nova but while recording with this "Sonar" thing I don't hear it too. But when you choose "Headphones Nova Pro" (it should be something like this) you should be able to record discord sounds

I think that it happens because of that mixer. With Sonar your mixer is active and it manages your discord sounds. I don't know how but it collides with almost every recording app on my computer. I'm not sure about OBS but yeah

I use nvidia experience highlights to record short 3 minutes of action whenver playing cs go or apex. It records my mic and the ingame audio perfectly, but it does not include my team mates from discord speaking.
I assume this is because of different channels for chat / ingame audio or something like that .
I can fix this by setting the headset as default device in windows, and not using the "steelseries sonar - gaming" . But doing this removes the ability to use the equalizer... Adn the eq is fantastic for music and gaming alike ...
So in short: I have to choose from using the eq or recording my discord chat.

The possible reason why you're not getting sound from there is.. The recording software that you're using is only recording one source, Discord being a completely different source it's probably going to ignore it there's a way to fix this though!

Technically yes but do a light dusting first to remove surface debris. A damp micro fiber after dusting usually all you need. Rubbing something on top of a plastic screen cover like that can often create swirl marks/micro scratches on the finish. So never push hard

I've been asked a lot about the SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless tuning. After spending hours working on the tunes today, I will be releasing a video in the next day or two outlining the minor tweaks and how to make the most of the NPW. I generally tune towards a single EQ that works well with Music, Movies, and Games. I often target imaging performance and sound stage over pure flat sound or elevated bass or treble. This helps give you the edge in FPS games, but can still sound amazing in movies. From there you can adjust the bass/mid/treble slider in Sonar to tweak to your liking. Video dropping soon!

@stark rampart unfortunately i sill have the problem: The following setup. I connected a GoXLR with an XLR mic and had previously connected wired headphones to the headphone output. I have monitoring on the mic so I can hear myself. Until then everything is perfect. I just wanted to switch to wireless headphones now. I bought the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and plugged in a cable from the headphone output to the Gamedac Station of the Nova headphones in the GoXLR. Now it's like I don't hear myself 1:1. it sounds like there is a filter on it. It sounds like my voice is slightly altered. But as soon as I connect the wireless headphones with a cable directly to the GoXLR, everything is normal.

Adjustable in the sense that you can adjust how much you press the switch before it actuates and registering the click

SS needs to add some sort of mic noise filter for the Engine on the Nova Series headsets(console users). These mics are way too sensitive that it picks up even the slightest breeze.
