get yourself to power gambit

then u are basically level 5 or close, do the side quests the killing streak volumes should be enough

and you are at 6, why is 6 important? You run and climb faster

you want that before you get the darkzones/armor pieces

As soon as you are like Level 8 you will no longer care too much about leveling you are strong enough and have headstomp afair

get cuipaga asap if you want

i think getting cuipaga asap is good because of the loot bonus it gives

They should have added more mechanics like some trucks being busted and needing to repair them, the hunger nerf should not have happened, it became easily managable after a few days ad looting.
Anyone could have adapted and gotten better at the game mode but I think these changes are were more for people who just refuse to.

Stock up on military medkits and boosters, any crafted weapon fully upgraded and modded will do fine through the final fights.

Alright i have like 10 of the military medkits but i have the regular bandages fully upgraded

plus i ain’t taking chances to go out at night and try to kill some violatiles and then get jumped by that dumb alpha one 😭

because i never see him he just spawns directly on me

But i do have 2 of the revive stems 😝 just in case of the last boss battle

Bandages will also be fine, the medkits are great because the almost insta heal, just keep them ready incase you miss some dodges.
For the 3 behemoths I rushed the first one to get it under control as fast as possible and then let him keep the other 2 busy while I get in hits

For my main weapon I went with the sunset machete, fast attack speed and decent damage and for mods I put on Electricity and ice, both proc on crit hits and the charm I think I went with one that reduces the durability loss on each hit, I used the weapon from mid game all the way through the boss fights and cleared all the zones before my final repair was used.

Yeah it's decent 2 handed weapon, any weapon will do it all comes down the personal preference.
Like I prefer 1 handed slash weapons but a I also like 2 handed blunt weapons like the baseball bat or sledgehammers.
I just went with the machete because I feel more efficient with it

What exactly causes the game to save or autosave? Had 2 incidents where i cleared a good chunk of a region from infected only to rejoin the save file and have them all be back to life.

you can force autosave by Sleeping in a bed in savezone

The loot isn't bad. I was lucky and got the one near the librarytower (tried to translate it from german hope thats the name) at 8a.m. i didnt sleep and waited in the safe place for day and thats how i got my first and only Volatile Hive. Maybe it works for you too. But the hives in the cave, where the old men explodes himself with the zombies, they dont have really good loot. But its worth to throw molotov cocktails or anything like that at them they give 100 exp.

Alright for awhile i've been seeing these bomb and dying posts for sometime. I've experienced it once through the Killing streak 5 (7th attempt at a one life run) and blew up out of nowhere.

I can't post a screenshot apparently but I completed the game dying 3 times (used two revival serums due to falling to my death from the power lines - LOL, then fell out of a tower on accident - WHOOPS!)

Final ending of the game where you are planting the C4 to the walls to get into the Baron's castle. first one? I run away, bomb goes BOOM! Dust is clearing, I entered the area... BOOM! Blasted from behind ending my one life run. WTF

So I decided.. well i'm here I might as well finish the story. Trounced the castle (had a couple of OMFG HOW DID I LIVE!?) but clapped Baron and finished the game. So yes the revival serums saved my run twice due to my own stupidity, but the final "death" via the C4 bomb blowing up behind me as I entered? Refreakingdickulous!

Rushing on permadeath can lead to making mistakes and starting over again, unless you are confident in your skills as a player taking it slow, leveling up and getting resources together to manage your hunger and flashlight is the smarter choice.
Don't take unnecessary risks, avoid night time because the Alpha will track you (Again unless you are confident in your skills).
Special infected drop boosters and explosives, store some in your stash along with military medkits to use for boss fights and choose 1 weapon you really like to upgrade and mod at the start while resources are limited.

Dont rush the main story. I was able to complete it at level 13 and running 21 military heal kits. Farm boosters from spitters.
I avoided night time like the plague and abused the shit out of the ciupaga as it respawns after every mission. Pick it up before bosses, hold onto weapons you can sell. Expanded backpacks go for 4k. You can get ciupaga and the legendary smg before fighting mist. Molatav's are amazing for clearing out huge groups of infected. Clear the non volatile dark zones in old town for some of the scavenger outfits. Make sure you make throwing knives to quickly take down the damn howler guys.

They should automatically spawn back if you didn't loot the convoy, and if they don't, there's three other ways. One, use the code they give that gives you a free keycard. Two, wait until you get at the Secrets In the Air quest but have the convoy for it already looted. It forcefully spawns more convoy soldiers that you can kill to use their keycards for other convoys. Or three, contact the devs if you're just completely locked out of it.

It was in the middle of the cutscene where you are introduced to carmilo and I had to leave so I quit the game during the cutscene and than closed the game before I left and when I came back the he is in stayed unlocked and the cutscene doesn’t play so I’m stuck at 5/5 research found and no update

The reward for securing the 7 regions is somewhat lackluster since i imagine it only affects the normal walkers.
