Like, was around 10 years ago or so that I was installing xp on a laptop that came with windows 7 just so that we could have some software on there running for PLCs, because as it turns out, most hospitals which have automated switchover systems and such, don't wanna have their power cut every few years to keep the gear current, so you end up with stuff which was installed like 20, even 30 years ago which has maybe had a PLC replacement here and there as models have gone obsolete and the things been replaced just for the sake of keeping it within the working lifespan, but, that means that you've got the joys of servicing hardware which isn't really supported anymore, and can often rely on 32 bit or even 16 bit drivers

I use the same screen cleaner as he did these days, issue is that we've moved from like, small LCDs and CRTs towards glass screens which get kinda hot which doesn't seem to help
