Personally, I'm a big fan of peer-to-peer because of the lower overall latency, plus the lack of dependence on a centralized server.
Being a peer-to-peer fan is a rough way to live though, due to the fact it's harder (but not impossible) to have tight security and/or enforce anti-cheating.
The fact that bandwidth requirements also skyrocket when you add more people isn't really all that awesome either.
