i imported the font awesome SVG into PS but it just exports the meteor as a base64 PNG inside the exported SVG

Changing to sRGB after the fact will probably make your source look like the SVG did but then you just have to adjust it back from there (change the hex values and such)
afaik sRGB is how all browsers are going to render it anyway
Except maybe Firefox, I think you either need your SVG to include something saying what color space to use or it defaults to whatever your monitor claims to use unless you set a pref (that they're working on getting turned on by default)

You should learn Java, and then using the Bukkit API is simple. You extend JavaPlugin, you provide implementations to the available methods, you register listeners and commands, and other than that it's plain Java. If you don't know what extending is, what methods are, what a listener is etc, then you haven't learnt Java so you shouldn't be worrying about making plugins yet
and maybe I'm misreading you just not following directions as trolling, but if that's the case then you have a serious problem following directions
