If you insist. Given that my server isn't p2w and there's already so much expenses already, at this time I'd like to avoid paying the XenForo renewal fee. There have been security-related updates however I'd only like to use the website for announcements (with a webhook to the Discord server's announcements if possible), applications, reports and appeals at this time (as instead of the forums, I'd just rather use Discord). I'm considering two possible solutions in attempt to make it more secure for everyone. The first would be to have it so no one can comment on announcements, it will not show who is online, newest member etc. The reports, appeals and applications I'd like to somehow make into kind of forms where only permitted staff can see the results.
The other thought, was to prevent bots to the best of my ability and have these forms completed by guests but requiring captcha on every form filled as there's still the option of IP-Banning. What are your thoughts? (In case it's relevant, my current version is 2.1.1)
